How to find out which version you are playing
Open the game, then its info or help screen. Most studios show the RTP there; some show it only in the rules. If you cannot find it, the operator’s support can tell you.
The versions exist because studios let operators trade a lower RTP for other terms. As a player you cannot choose the version, but you can choose which operator to play at.
The list is sorted by the gap between the best and the worst published version, so the games where checking matters most come first.
RTP of several RTP versions
The highest headline RTPs among several RTP versions are Le Prechaun by Hacksaw Gaming (97.52%), Rage to Riches by Play'n GO (97.12%) and Wild Swarm by Push Gaming (97.03%). The average headline RTP across all 737 is 95.84%, and the lowest is 88.52% on Tivoli Bonanza.
737 of them (100%) are published in more than one RTP version, so the return depends on the version an operator runs. The widest gap is on Mystery Egg Surprise: from 96.98% down to 83.99%.
Volatility and max win
Volatility is published for 688 of the 737 games: 31 low, 226 medium, 277 high and 154 very high.
The largest published max wins are 50,000× on Epic Ze Zeus, 20,000× on Chaos Crew 2 and 15,000× on Le Prechaun. The median max win of the 19 games that publish one is 10,000×. A max win is a rare ceiling, not a result to expect.
