About dragon slots
Dragons appear in two very different traditions on slots: the lucky dragon of Chinese culture, often paired with gold and fortune symbols, and the fire-breathing dragon of European fantasy. Both are common, and the games share little beyond the creature.
The list includes every game with a dragon in its title. Compare them on RTP and max win rather than on the theme.
RTP of dragon slots
The highest headline RTPs among dragon slots are Dragon Dance by Microgaming (97.49%), Lucky Dragon MultiDice X by BGaming (97%) and Hearts And Dragons by Skywind (96.95%). The average headline RTP across all 69 is 96.24%, and the lowest is 95.19% on Lucky Dragons.
8 of them (12%) are published in more than one RTP version, so the return depends on the version an operator runs. The widest gap is on Legend of the Ice Dragon: from 96.29% down to 84.26%.
Volatility and max win
Volatility is published for 45 of the 69 games: 4 low, 8 medium, 16 high and 17 very high.
The largest published max wins are 27,000× on Dragon Tribe, 20,000× on Dragon Hot Hold and Spin and 20,000× on Dragon Boyz. The median max win of the 26 games that publish one is 7,931×. A max win is a rare ceiling, not a result to expect.
Studios, years and free demos
13 studios make the games in this list. The most represented are Pragmatic Play with 23 (average RTP 96.38%), Red Tiger with 13 (average RTP 95.94%) and Skywind with 5 (average RTP 96.34%).
Release years run from 2012 to 2026; the newest are Dragon Pots Megaways (2026), Dragon Tiger Fortunes (2026) and Dragon’s Gate - Bonus Choice (2026).
66 of the 69 (96%) have a free official demo that runs on their page with no sign-up.
