How Megaways slots work
On a six-reel Megaways slot each reel shows between two and seven symbols per spin. Multiplying those heights gives the number of ways to win for that spin, and a full 7×7×7×7×7×7 grid gives 117,649.
Many Megaways games add cascades, where winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in, and multipliers that grow during free spins. These features push most Megaways games towards high volatility.
The list is based on the game name. A game built on the engine but sold without the name is not included.
RTP of Megaways slots
The highest headline RTPs among Megaways slots are Mystery Reels Megaways by Red Tiger (98.06%), Well of Wilds Megaways by Red Tiger (97.71%) and Blood Suckers Megaways by Red Tiger (97.66%). The average headline RTP across all 131 is 96.26%, and the lowest is 95% on Book of Gems Megaways.
1 of them (1%) are published in more than one RTP version, so the return depends on the version an operator runs. The widest gap is on Castle Cash Megaways: from 96.1% down to 90.5%.
Volatility and max win
