Privacy policy
WildmarkSlots is built to need as little personal data as possible: there are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. This page explains the little we do process.
In short
- You can use every page and tool on WildmarkSlots without giving us any personal data.
- Saved games and your comparison list are stored in your own browser and never sent to us.
- If you write to us through the contact form, we use your message and email address only to handle it and reply.
- We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising or build profiles.
When you browse
Like every website, our servers and our hosting provider receive technical data with each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is needed to deliver pages, keep the site secure and stop abuse, and it is kept in short-lived server logs only.
WildmarkSlots does not use analytics or advertising cookies or similar tracking. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page and the cookie policy.
Data stored in your browser
When you save a game or add one to the comparison, the list of game names is stored in your browser's local storage so it is there on your next visit. It never leaves your device. You can clear it on the saved games page or in your browser settings. Details are in the cookie policy.
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your email address, a subject and a message, and optionally your name and the page your message is about. We use them to read, handle and answer your message, for example to correct a game's data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages and keeping the data on the site correct.
Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle them and to keep a record of the corrections they led to, and are then deleted. Your IP address is used briefly in memory to limit how many messages can be sent in a short time; it is not stored with your message.
Other services
Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf, under contracts that restrict them to that purpose. Where they process data outside your country, this happens under the safeguards that data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Links to studio websites and help organisations open sites that have their own privacy policies. Where a free demo is available, it loads from the game provider's or media service's servers only after you press play, and that service may set its own cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, PIPEDA in Canada or the Privacy Act 2020 in New Zealand), you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, write to us through the contact form using the email address your request is about. We answer within one month.
Children
WildmarkSlots is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has sent us a message, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
