About Egyptian slots
Ancient Egypt is one of the oldest slot themes, and it is common for the pyramids, scarabs and pharaoh symbols to sit on top of very different maths. A theme says nothing about how a game pays, so two Egyptian slots side by side can have RTPs, volatility and max wins far apart.
Many games in this group use an expanding symbol in free spins, the design of the "Book of" slots, but not all of them do. Check each game’s RTP versions and max win on its own page before you compare.
RTP of Egyptian slots
The highest headline RTPs among Egyptian slots are UFO Pyramids by BGaming (97.17%), Book of Pyramids by BGaming (97.13%) and Treasure of Anubis by BGaming (97.13%). The average headline RTP across all 73 is 95.99%, and the lowest is 91.93% on Tales of Egypt.
20 of them (27%) are published in more than one RTP version, so the return depends on the version an operator runs. The widest gap is on Doom of Egypt: from 96.21% down to 84.18%.
Volatility and max win
Volatility is published for 48 of the 73 games: 8 low, 9 medium, 20 high and 11 very high.
The largest published max wins are 34,104× on Egypt Megaways, 20,932× on Tomb of Akhenaten and 10,000× on Book of Tut Megaways. The median max win of the 20 games that publish one is 5,010×. A max win is a rare ceiling, not a result to expect.
Studios, years and free demos
11 studios make the games in this list. The most represented are Pragmatic Play with 24 (average RTP 96.18%), Play'n GO with 11 (average RTP 96.3%) and Yggdrasil with 10 (average RTP 94.96%).
Release years run from 2013 to 2026; the newest are Ra vs Osiris (2026), Fury of Anubis (2026) and Treasures of Osiris (2026).
65 of the 73 (89%) have a free official demo that runs on their page with no sign-up.
