Looking back at 2025
Release year is recorded for about half of the games in the open data. It is useful for finding games from a particular era, but it is not a quality signal.
Compare the headline RTP with the lowest published version: studios releasing a game often publish a range, and operators choose from it.
RTP of released in 2025
The highest headline RTPs among released in 2025 are Cat’s Soup by BGaming (98.06%), Sweet Craze by Pragmatic Play (97.54%) and Sugar Mix by BGaming (97.37%). The average headline RTP across all 368 is 95.98%, and the lowest is 94% on Wild Gangs.
152 of them (41%) are published in more than one RTP version, so the return depends on the version an operator runs. The widest gap is on Mystery Egg Surprise: from 96.98% down to 83.99%.
Volatility and max win
Volatility is published for 232 of the 368 games: 15 low, 67 medium, 98 high and 52 very high.
The largest published max wins are 100,000× on Mahjong Wins Super Scatter, 50,000× on Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter and 43,200× on Gods of Troy Megaways. The median max win of the 45 games that publish one is 10,000×. A max win is a rare ceiling, not a result to expect.
