Big Bucks Saloon review

Big Bucks Saloon puts you in the boots of a new sheriff chasing four outlaws. The Revolver at the heart of the design is a moving symbol that fires wilds onto the reels, so much of the action depends on where it lands. BGaming released the game in 2025 with a 97.01% RTP, a High volatility label and a free spins round in which every wild stays put. The studio gives no max win, and neither does our catalogue.

The sheriff and the bounties

The story is a town unsettled by outlaws with bounties on their heads. The studio lists four of them: a thief in green, a caravan robber in blue, an explosives expert in orange and a boss with a silver moustache. It is theme only. Nothing in the studio text ties a payout to a particular character, so the symbol values are best checked in the in-game paytable.

The Revolver symbol

The Revolver can land in any cell, in the main game and in the bonus. It fires three shots that replace the symbols they hit with wilds, then moves down the reels and reloads for another volley. Whenever it lands in a new row it reloads and shoots again.

Shots that strike an existing wild upgrade it instead. The first hit gives that wild a x2 multiplier and the next a x3, so the Revolver can both create wilds and raise their value.

Wild

Wilds substitute for every symbol except scatters in order to complete wins. In the free spins every wild turns sticky and stays in place until the bonus ends, which lets the Revolver build up a board of fixed wilds over the round.

Scatter

Three scatters on reels two, three and four trigger the free spins. The round is 12 spins long in total, and the studio does not mention a retrigger.

Buy Bonus

The free spins can be bought at the price shown in the Buy Bonus pop-up. That price changes automatically when the bet changes.

Maths: a 97.01% RTP

The only RTP on record is 97.01%, which leaves a house edge of 2.99%. That is about $29.90 lost per $1,000 wagered. A hundred spins cost $0.60 on average at $0.20, $2.99 at $1 and $14.95 at $5.

Volatility is High. Max win and hit frequency are not published in our data, so there is no payout ceiling to quote. Because wilds become sticky only in the bonus, the free spins are where the Revolver's work accumulates.

Other High-volatility games at 97%

Several High-rated slots in the catalogue have RTPs in the same range. Bonanza Trillion lists 97.17% and Frenzy Clusters 97.11%, both released in 2025 and 2026 respectively. Fortune Bells shows 97.09%, Keepers Of The Secret 97.02% and Book of Hidden Tombs 97%. Grand Buffalo Hold and Win is a little lower at 96.7%.

Pros

  • 97.01% RTP, a house edge of 2.99%
  • Revolver can create wilds and add x2 and x3 multipliers to existing ones
  • Sticky wilds in the 12 free spins
  • Free official demo available

Cons

  • No max win or hit frequency in our data
  • High volatility, so the base game can be quiet between bonuses
  • Studio text does not mention a free spins retrigger

Verdict

Big Bucks Saloon is a mechanical slot: a Revolver that fires wilds, upgrades them to x2 and x3, and a 12-spin round where all wilds stick. The 97.01% RTP gives a house edge of 2.99%, and the High volatility label signals uneven sessions. The lack of a published max win makes the free demo worth a try first. Set a budget before playing and treat the cost as entertainment spending.
