Sweet Craze review

Sweet Craze is Pragmatic Play's 2025 confectionery game. It pays for blocks of matching symbols, and the real interest sits in the chest symbols: they turn into money symbols that stay in place and grow with every tumble. Its listed RTP of 97.54% is the highest among the 2025 games placed beside it in our catalogue. Volatility and max win are not published, so this review stays with what the studio does state.

Block wins and tumbles

Wins come from landing blocks of 5 to 25 or more matching symbols. The studio says that a block can pay up to 50x. The game uses tumbles, meaning the reels keep resolving in a sequence while new wins form, and several of the special symbols are tied to the end of that sequence.

Chests and money symbols

A chest symbol only does something when it lands together with at least one winning combination on screen. In that case the chest transforms into a money symbol worth up to 500x. Money symbols are sticky until the tumbling sequence ends.

Each tumble adds +1x to the multiplier of every money symbol on screen. This is the part that rewards long sequences: the more tumbles a spin goes through, the higher the money symbols climb, and several of them on screen climb together.

Chest to money symbol

Needs a winning combination on screen at the same time. The chest becomes a money symbol with a value of up to 500x, which stays on the reels through the tumbling sequence.

The bonus game

Four to seven scatters trigger the bonus game with up to 16 free spins. During it, money symbols spawned by chest symbols remain sticky for the entire bonus, and their multipliers still rise by +1x with each tumble. If another four to seven scatters land during the bonus, an extra 5 to 16 free spins are awarded.

Because the money symbols never leave in the bonus, their values only go up. Long tumble chains in the later spins therefore lift the whole board.

RTP, cost and unknowns

One RTP is on record, 97.54%, which is a house edge of 2.46%. Over a long run that is about $24.60 lost per $1,000 wagered. A session of 100 spins costs $0.49 on average at $0.20, $2.46 at $1 and $12.30 at $5.

Neither our catalogue nor the studio text we hold gives a volatility rating or a max win, so we cannot translate the 500x money symbol into a ceiling. Without that figure, treat the stated limits as individual symbol values, not as a cap on a spin. A free official demo is available.

2025 releases for comparison

Plushie Wins lists 96.84% and Aztec Gems Megaways 96.58%, both from 2025. Chilli Heat Spicy Spins lists 96.58% with a 10,000x max win, Lucky Mouse 96.57%, Jackpot Blaze 96.56% and Ancient Island Megaways 96.55%. Sweet Craze has the highest RTP among them.

Pros

  • A 97.54% RTP, a house edge of just 2.46%
  • Money symbols of up to 500x grow by +1x with each tumble
  • Sticky money symbols for the whole bonus game, with up to 16 free spins
  • Free official demo available

Cons

  • No volatility rating or max win published
  • Chest symbols only turn into money symbols alongside a win
  • Block wins are described only up to 50x

Verdict

Sweet Craze pairs a short rule set with a clear idea: money symbols stick, tumbles raise them, and the bonus keeps them in place. The 97.54% RTP means a 2.46% house edge, about $24.60 per $1,000. Volatility and max win are not published, so it is hard to judge how uneven results will be. Use the free demo to see how often chests appear before spending anything, and treat any session as paid entertainment.
