Hot Chilli Bells 100 review

One hundred fixed lines frame this 2025 BGaming game, a fiery reworking of Hot Chilli Bells. Line wins are helped by wilds that expand on the middle reels, scatters pay in any position, and the main event is a Hold and Win round in which three marked cells can multiply bonus values by up to x15. A progress bar adds a final boost for filling the board. The RTP is 97%.

Spinning on 100 lines

All 100 lines are always active, so there is no line setting to adjust; the stake simply covers every line. Two special symbols shape the base game.

Wilds appear on reels 2 to 4. When one is part of a winning combination, it expands to fill its whole reel, which can complete more lines on the same spin. Scatters pay wherever they land, independent of the lines.

The third symbol to watch is the Bonus symbol. It does not pay on lines; instead, six or more of them start the Hold and Win round.

The Hold and Win round, step by step

The round only uses Bonus symbols, and its rules are tidy enough to follow in order.

Cell multipliers

Before the first respin, 3 random multipliers of up to x15 are placed on the grid. Any Bonus symbol that later lands in one of those cells has its value boosted by that multiplier. Which cells get marked, and with what values, does much to decide how a round turns out.

Respins

The round starts with 3 respins. Every new Bonus symbol that lands resets the count to 3, so a steady flow of symbols keeps the round alive. It ends when the respins run out with nothing new landing, or when every cell on the grid is filled.

Progress Bar

A meter counts the Bonus symbols collected during the round. Reaching 15 symbols multiplies the total win by x2, and reaching 20 multiplies it by x3. It gives a clear target late in a round, when each extra symbol can move the bar to the next step.

Getting there faster

Two options change how you reach the bonus. Chance x2 raises the bet slightly and doubles the chance of triggering the round. The Buy Bonus starts the Hold and Win game immediately for a price that adjusts with the bet. The two cannot be used together, and both increase what each session costs.

Return and cost

With a 97% RTP, the house edge is 3%. That is about $30 retained by the game for every $1,000 staked across a long run. Expected costs for 100 spins are $0.60 at $0.20, $3 at $1 and $15 at $5.

The studio does not publish a volatility rating, and our catalogue has no max-win figure. BGaming's FAQ says the biggest win can reach 5,000x the stake, or $5,000 on a $1 bet.

Family and fit

The original Hot Chilli Bells and the Hot Chilli Bells 100 X-mas edition, both from 2025, also list 97%. Among similar 2025 games at the same RTP, Burning Chilli 243 is rated Low, while Doomsday Saloon and Fiesta Clusters are rated Very high.

It suits players who like line games with a respin bonus that has visible goals: marked cells, a reset counter and a progress bar. Players who dislike optional purchases can ignore both extras. The free demo is the best way to see how often six Bonus symbols appear.

Pros

  • Hold and Win cells with multipliers of up to x15
  • Progress bar adds x2 at 15 symbols and x3 at 20
  • Expanding wilds on reels 2 to 4
  • Free official demo available

Cons

  • No volatility rating published
  • Max win comes only from the studio FAQ
  • Chance x2 and Buy Bonus raise the cost per session

Verdict

Hot Chilli Bells 100 is a 100-line game whose main draw is a Hold and Win round with marked multiplier cells up to x15 and a progress bar worth x2 or x3. The 97% RTP and 3% house edge are attractive, though the lack of a volatility rating leaves the pace uncertain. The stated ceiling is 5,000x. Learn it on the demo before spending.
