Pirates Plenty Megaways review
Lady Anne Wild and her crew sail across a map above the reels in this Red Tiger release. Collect map pieces and the ship reaches the far side, which opens a horizontal extra reel across the top of the grid and lifts the ways to win to 200,704. A Wild Monkey, a growing expanding wild and a free spins round with a rising multiplier fill out the design. The catalogue lists a 97.65% RTP and a Low volatility label.
Wild Monkey and the base game
The base game runs on a six-reel Megaways layout with up to seven symbols per reel. The first helper is the Wild Monkey. It can appear on the reels at any time, removes all the low-paying symbols and then locks in place as a sticky wild for the initial spin and for any respins that follow.
With the low-paying symbols gone, only the better-paying ones are left to form wins around the locked wild.
Map pieces, Wild Ways and Lady Anne
Map symbols move the pirate ship along the map above the reels. When it reaches the other side, the Wild Ways unlock. That adds the horizontal reel on top and takes the ceiling to 200,704 ways, a big step up from the base layout.
Unlocking the extra reel also lets the Lady Anne Wild appear, so the map is the main thing to chase in the base game.
