Wild West Gold Blazing Bounty review
Blazing Bounty is a 2025 sequel to Wild West Gold, and it is a five-by-five cluster game: five or more connected symbols make a win. The weight of the design sits in its wilds. They arrive with random multipliers, and in the free spins they stay on the board, with the scatter count at the trigger deciding how large the multipliers can be.
Clusters and multiplier wilds
A win needs a block of at least five matching symbols connected on the grid. The official rules mention no tumbles, respins or expanding reels, so each spin is settled once.
The Wild substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. Each Wild that lands carries a random multiplier of x2, x3 or x5, and that value applies to every winning combination the wild belongs to. A single wild can sit in more than one cluster at once. When more than one wild is in the same winning combination, their multipliers are added together, not multiplied.
Free spins: the scatter count sets the ceiling
Three or more scatters start 10 free spins. What differs is the pool of multipliers the wilds draw from.
During the round a wild that lands stays on the screen, so the board can slowly fill with multipliers. The round cannot be retriggered, which means the 10 spins are all you get. Because stickiness and larger multipliers only matter here, most of the 7,500x potential has to come from this round.
Three scatters
Wild multipliers are drawn from x2, x3 or x5, the same values as in the base game.
Four scatters
The possible values change to x2, x5 or x10.
Five scatters
The possible values rise to x10, x15 or x25, the strongest pool in the standard round.
Ante bet and buying the bonus
The bet multiplier can be set to 20x for normal play or 40x for the ante option. At 40x the chance of reaching the free spins naturally is five times higher, because more scatters are on the reels, and the bonus buy is switched off.
Buying is the other route. Paying 100x the total bet starts the free spins, with three, four or five scatters placed at random on the triggering spin. Paying 500x starts Super Free Spins with five scatters. The studio says Super Free Spins is available in select markets and offers wilds with multipliers of 10x to 25x, so it may not be on every version.
The numbers
Blazing Bounty has one RTP on record, 96.48%, a house edge of 3.52%, which means about $35.20 lost per $1,000 wagered. No volatility label is published.
A 100-spin session at $0.20 costs $0.70 on average, at $1 it costs $3.52 and at $5, or $500 wagered, $17.60. The max win is 7,500x the bet, which equals $1,500 at $0.20, $7,500 at $1 and $37,500 at $5.
The original Wild West Gold lists 96.51% and a 10,000x cap, so this one trades a little ceiling for a similar return. Among games with similar numbers, Gates of Hades from 2025 lists 96.52% and 10,000x, Wild Beach Party lists 96.53% and 5,000x, and Sugar Rush 1000 lists 96% with a 25,000x cap.
Pros
- Wild multipliers add together when several share a win
- Wilds stay on the board for the whole free spins round
- A 96.48% RTP and a 3.52% house edge
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility label is published
- The free spins cannot be retriggered
- The ante option costs 40x against 20x for normal play
- Max win of 7,500x is below the original's 10,000x
Verdict
Wild West Gold Blazing Bounty gives the franchise a cluster base and a clear multiplier ladder: more scatters at the trigger mean stronger sticky wilds. The 96.48% RTP means a 3.52% house edge and the 7,500x cap marks the top of what the free spins can pay. Since volatility is not published, use the free demo to judge the pace first, and treat any purchase option as an expensive shortcut, not a better deal.
