Pirates' Plenty: Treasures of the Seas review
This 2025 Red Tiger release puts Captain Kidd in charge, and its structure is a voyage. In the base game a ship sails a map towards three stops, each stop uncovers a treasure chest, and the chests feed into a free spins round built around locking wilds. Collect all five chests and the studio says you claim Kidd's Treasure, worth up to 20,000x. The catalogue puts the max win a little higher, at 22,640x.
Wilds and the voyage in the base game
Wild symbols land on reels 2, 3 and 4. They substitute for all paying symbols and count as whichever symbol forms the longest winning combination on a single win line.
Map symbols can appear on any base game spin while the Treasure Row stays locked. Each one moves the ship forward by a step. The ship stops in three places in a fixed order: Plunder Bay, Port Royal and Treasure Cove. The studio sets the requirement at 10, 15 and 20 map symbols to reach each stop in turn.
Treasure Chests
Each port the ship reaches uncovers a chest above reels 2, 3 and 4, in that order. Features triggered by opening a chest during the bonus round stay active for the whole of the free spins. The studio says collecting all five chests claims Kidd's Treasure, worth up to 20,000x.
Free spins that reset themselves
Three free spins symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 award 3 free spins. In the bonus every position on the grid acts as its own separate reel, and win lines are paid on each spin.
The round is built on one rule: each wild that lands locks in place and resets the spin counter to 3. If no new wild has landed by the end of a spin, Captain Kidd may appear at random and reset the counter anyway. The round ends only when three consecutive spins pass without a new wild, so a run of wilds can keep the feature going for a long time, and a dry run ends it fast.
RTP, volatility and cost
Pirates' Plenty: Treasures of the Seas has one RTP on record, 96.2%. The house edge is 3.8%, which is about $38 lost per $1,000 wagered. The hit frequency in the catalogue is 36.5% and the volatility is Very high.
A 100-spin session costs about $0.76 at a $0.20 bet, $3.80 at $1 and $19 at $5. The 22,640x max win equals $4,528 at $0.20, $22,640 at $1 and $113,200 at $5. Those are ceilings, and the Very high label signals that most sessions end well below them.
Alternatives
Our series list for this title is empty. Games with close numbers are Piggy Riches Begins at 96.17% and a 21,285x max win, Biggest Vault at 96.14% and 21,026x, and Bounty Cove at 96.18% and 20,000x. Stormfire lists 96.15% with 25,000x. Every one of them is rated Very high, like this one.
Who it suits
The free spins counter makes this a game of streaks. Players who like a feature that can end quickly after only three spins, or stretch out with every new wild, are the natural audience. Anyone who prefers steady, predictable sessions should look elsewhere, given the Very high rating.
Pros
- 36.5% hit frequency in the catalogue
- Locking wilds reset the free spins counter to 3
- Max win of 22,640x the bet
- Free official demo available
Cons
- Very high volatility with a 3.8% house edge
- Free spins end after three spins without a new wild
- Chest rewards need the voyage to be completed first
Verdict
Pirates' Plenty: Treasures of the Seas is a streak game: a map voyage in the base game, then a free spins round that survives only while wilds keep landing. The 96.2% RTP and Very high volatility describe a game of peaks, and the 22,640x max win is the top limit rather than a target. A 3.8% house edge applies to every spin, so try the free demo before staking money.
