Madame Destiny Megaways review
The fortune teller returns in Madame Destiny Megaways, Pragmatic Play's 2021 follow-up to the 2018 original. The reels now vary in height, wins tumble, and the free spins start with a spin of a wheel that decides how many spins you get and how big the multiplier will be. Black cats, candles and tarot cards set the mood, and Madame herself plays the wild.
Six reels of changing height
The game uses the Megaways engine: the number of symbols on each reel changes from spin to spin. Reels 1 and 6 can show up to 7 symbols, and reels 2 to 5 up to 8. The top row of reels 2 to 5 spins on its own, from right to left. At the largest, that makes 200,704 ways to win. Wins are counted from left to right on adjacent reels.
After each spin the winning symbols disappear, the rest fall down and new symbols drop in from above. Tumbling continues until no new win appears, and the total is credited to the balance only when the sequence is over.
Madame as a wild
The wild appears on reels 2 to 6 and replaces every symbol except the scatter. Any winning combination that includes a wild is multiplied by 2x, in both the base game and the free spins. That makes the wild more valuable than a plain substitute, since it improves the pay of the line it joins.
Scatter pays and the Wheel of Fortune
Three to six scatters anywhere trigger the free spins, and they also pay on their own: 5x the total bet for three, 10x for four, 20x for five and 100x for six.
Before the round starts, a wheel with two slices appears. One slice shows a number of free spins, the other a multiplier. The wheel awards a random combination, which is then played for the whole round. The spin counts it can show are 5, 8, 10 and 12. The multipliers are 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x and 25x, and the multiplier applies to the total win of every free spin.
Retrigger
Three or more scatters during the round retrigger the feature. The wheel comes back on a retrigger; our rules extract is cut off before the details of what it awards.
Ante bet
The bet multiplier can be set to 25x instead of the normal 20x. At 25x the chance of winning free spins naturally is doubled and more scatters are present on the reels. The stake rises by a quarter.

The round can be bought for 100x the current total bet. The buy is switched off whenever the 25x ante bet is active.
