Fruit Party review
Fruit Party is a 7x7 cluster slot where the multipliers live on the fruit itself. Any symbol in a winning block can randomly carry a multiplier, and when several do, their values multiply rather than add, up to 256x. Pragmatic Play released it in 2020 with tumbling wins in every spin and a free spins round where those multipliers turn up more often and can be worth 4x instead of 2x.
Blocks of five and up
There are no lines. A win is a block of 5 or more matching symbols connected anywhere on the square grid, and the paytable pays according to the size of the block. The rules list no wild, so blocks form from matching fruit alone.
After each win the tumble feature removes the winning symbols, lets the rest fall and fills the space from above. The sequence keeps going while new blocks form, and the total is credited once the last tumble from the base spin has played out.
Multipliers that multiply
The idea that sets the game apart is how its multipliers combine.
Random multiplier (base game)
Every symbol involved in a winning block has a random chance to carry a 2x multiplier. The block's total win is multiplied by the product of all multipliers inside it: two 2x symbols make 4x, three make 8x, and so on. The product is capped at 256x.
Free spins multipliers
In the bonus, symbols in winning blocks can carry either 2x or 4x, and the chance of a multiplier appearing is higher than in the base game. The same rule applies: values in one block are multiplied together, with a 256x maximum per block.
Starting and extending the free spins
Three or more scatters, which can land on any reel, start the round with 10 free spins. Special reels are in play while it runs. Scatters during the round add more spins on a sliding scale: 3 add 10, 4 add 11, 5 add 12, 6 add 13 and 7 add 14.
Because multiplied values compound, the size of a bonus depends heavily on whether multipliers cluster inside the same winning block. A round with many small blocks and scattered multipliers can pay modestly, while a single large block with several 4x symbols moves quickly towards the cap.
RTP figures and the 5,000x limit
The catalogue gives 96.5%, while the official rules document in our pack states a theoretical 96.47%. Both are published; the in-game info screen confirms which applies. At 96.5% the house edge is 3.5%, or roughly $35 per $1,000 bet over time, and a 100-spin session costs about $0.70 at $0.20, $3.50 at $1 and $17.50 at $5 on average.
Total wins are limited to 5,000x the bet: $1,000 at $0.20, $5,000 at $1 and $25,000 at $5. No volatility rating is published, but with the multipliers concentrated in winning blocks and more of them in the bonus, results are likely to be uneven.
Sequel and similar cluster games
Fruit Party 2 followed in 2021 at 96.53% with the same 5,000x cap. Other Pragmatic Play games with close numbers include Sugar Rush from 2022 at 96.5% and 5,000x, and Gates of Hades from 2025 at 96.52% with a 10,000x ceiling. There is no bonus buy or ante bet in the official rules, so the only route to the free spins is the scatters.
