Golden Shower review
Nolimit City describes this slot as satire, set in a motel bathroom and leaning on the studio's provocative humour. The mechanics are less about the joke and more about the grid. Winning clusters leave multipliers behind in the positions they vacate, and those positions can double again whenever another win lands on them. In the bonus rounds the multipliers stay for good.
Clusters on a six by five grid
The grid has six reels of five rows, and wins come from clusters. The studio's text says six or more identical symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a win. The winning symbols vanish and new ones drop in, so a single spin can run through several cascades.
The game also tries to help clusters happen. Matching symbols that fail to form a winning cluster can turn into Wilds, a mechanic the rules call Wild Generation.
Position multipliers
This is the central mechanic. When a winning cluster is removed, a 2x multiplier is placed on every position it vacated. If another winning symbol later lands on the same position during a cascade, the value doubles, and the ceiling is 999x. In the free spins these position multipliers persist for the rest of the round.
Modifiers that clear the board
Several modifiers appear after clusters have been resolved. Each one removes symbols and raises multipliers, and they apply in a fixed order of priority.
Wild Burst
If Wilds are on the board and nothing wins, the Wilds destroy themselves and the cells next to them. Each cleared cell gets 2x added to its multiplier, so a Wild that cannot connect still builds the grid.
Steam
Steam upgrades a symbol to a higher tier. In the Gold Spins an enhanced version works on the top two occurring symbols.
Floater and Drain
Floater applies when there is no win and no Wilds; it clears other symbols and adds a multiplier. Drain applies when there is no win, no Wilds and no Floater; it clears the board and upgrades random multipliers.
Gold Spins in three sizes
Three, four or five Bonus symbols open 6, 8 or 10 Gold Spins, and each extra Bonus symbol adds one spin. The tiers stack on each other. The 8-spin round adds a Floater that always picks the highest paying symbol with the highest occurrence. The 10-spin round also lets Drain upgrade its position to 999x, the top value.
Because multipliers are persistent in these rounds, a long sequence of cascades can build a very large combined value, while a short one adds little.
