Fortune of Olympus review
Zeus receives visitors in a gold-filled throne room in this 2025 release from Pragmatic Play. The design is built on one lever, the multiplier. They can drop at random in the base game and the bonus, they can reach 500x, and in the free spins they pile up in a running total. A set of optional special bets then lets you decide how much of that you want to pay for. The catalogue lists a 96.55% RTP but no volatility or max win.
Multipliers that land on their own
In both the base game and the bonus, multipliers of up to 500x can hit at random. The studio does not give a list of the other values or say how often they appear, so the 500x should be read as the top of the range.
The game also uses tumbles. When more than one multiplier lands during a single tumble sequence, the total of all of them is awarded once the sequence ends. A long chain with several multipliers on screen is therefore worth more than the same chain with one.
Free spins with a running total
Four to seven scatters trigger the bonus game with up to 30 free spins. The studio gives only the upper figure, so the exact count for each scatter number is something to check in the game.
Inside the round, every multiplier that hits is added to a running total, and that total is applied to every win for the rest of the round. This makes early multipliers more valuable than late ones, since they work on every later result. The round is also where the 500x ceiling matters most, because its effect carries across all remaining spins.
Special bets
Up to four special bets are on offer. They are optional, and the studio groups them into three kinds. It does not state their prices in the text we hold, so check the stake shown in the game before enabling one.
Multiplier on each spin
One kind of special bet makes sure a multiplier appears on every spin instead of leaving it to chance. The base game stops being a wait for a random hit, which is the main difference from standard play.
Higher minimum multiplier
Another raises the lowest multiplier you can receive to 50x. The idea is the same, with a higher floor. It does not change the 500x top end that the studio mentions.
Better odds of the bonus
A third type increases the chance of entering the free spins. It leaves the base multipliers alone and shifts the odds towards the bonus round, where the running total can build.
What it costs to play
The listed RTP is 96.55%, a house edge of 3.45%. Over a long run that is about $34.50 lost per $1,000 wagered. Across 100 spins the average cost is $0.69 at $0.20 a spin, $3.45 at $1 and $17.25 at $5, which is $500 wagered.
Volatility and max win are not published, and the studio text does not say whether the special bets share this RTP, so check the in-game help for that detail.
Alongside other 2025 games
Ancient Island Megaways, Bandit Megaways, Captain Kraken Megaways, Finger Lick'n Free Spins, Gold Party 2 - After Hours and Lucky Bull all list the same 96.55% and a 2025 release. Bandit Megaways has a recorded max win of 5,000x the bet, which is the only ceiling on that list.
Pros
- Random multipliers of up to 500x in both the base game and the bonus
- Multipliers add to a running total in the free spins, applied to every later win
- Three kinds of special bet let you choose between multipliers and bonus odds
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility rating or max win in our catalogue
- The studio text gives only the maximum number of free spins, and no costs for the special bets
Verdict
Fortune of Olympus bets everything on multipliers: random ones up to 500x, a running total in the free spins that applies to every win, and special bets that raise the floor to 50x or the odds of the bonus. The RTP is 96.55% with a 3.45% house edge, and volatility is not published. The free demo is the place to see how the multipliers behave before choosing any special bet.
