Outer reels give orders, middle reels obey
The official grid is five reels by three rows with ways wins from left to right. The studio's page describes the starting layout as an unusual 2-3-2-3-2 structure, while the rules sheet lists a standard 3 by 5, so the exact shape differs between the two sources. In free spins the first and last reels gain an extra row.
What matters is where the symbols land. The xWays and Infectious Wild symbols appear only on reels one and five, and their effects play out in the middle of the board. That makes the outer reels the ones to watch.

xNudge Wild

Infectious Wild

Four tiers of Legion Spins
Three Bonus symbols on the middle reels start eight Legion X Spins. The first and last reels gain an extra row, the nudge multiplier persists, and the round ends when the spins are done or at the 31,000x cap, which the studio calls No Strength only Honour.
Three Bonus symbols can also arrive together with extra outer symbols, which changes the tier.
