Jewel Boom Super Drop review
BGaming describes this January 2026 release as a back-to-basics slot: a 3x1 pay-on-line layout in the one-armed-bandit tradition, powered by the studio's EZreel engine. The twist is the Collector Bonus. Diamonds gather towards a jackpot round, and the studio lists five fixed jackpots. With only three symbols across, the rules are short, and the interest is in how the jackpot round and the multipliers work.
A three-symbol board
The game is a single line of three positions. Coin symbols can land on any reel and pay a multiplier of up to 10x the bet. That is the plain part of a spin; the rest depends on the diamonds.
Diamonds, collectors and the jackpot round
Collecting a Diamond symbol can trigger the jackpot round. Diamonds can land on any reel. In the jackpot round, two matching jackpot symbols on reels one and three give a shot at that jackpot. If a Diamond Collector then lands on reel two, the displayed jackpot is won. If it does not, reels one and three respin and the process repeats.
The studio's text is not consistent on how the prizes are described. One passage speaks of five fixed jackpots; another says that diamonds trigger one of three Jackpot Chests named Bronze, Silver and Gold. We pass on both statements as BGaming's and cannot reconcile them from the page.
Coin symbols
They appear on all reels and award multiplier wins of up to 10x the bet. These are the everyday prizes that sit alongside the jackpot mechanic.
Super Spin multipliers
Extra multipliers may land on reels one and three during Super Spins. They are added to the current collector multiplier value, so they raise the value of what the collector pays. The studio's text does not say how Super Spins are triggered.
Studio figures against our catalogue
Our catalogue records a 96.5% RTP and a 3.5% house edge, with no volatility label or max win. The studio page fills those gaps: it lists a max multiplier of 3,000x and a maximum win of €250,000. It also gives the volatility as medium-low in the details block and as medium in the description. Treat these as BGaming's statements, not catalogue data.
At the catalogue RTP, $1,000 wagered costs about $35 on average. Over 100 spins, the average cost is $0.70 at $0.20, $3.50 at $1 and $17.50 at $5, or $500 wagered.
Similar games
Clash of Gods Power Duel also lists 96.5% but is rated Very high, and Crystal Clusters at 96.5% from 2025 carries the same label. Witchcraft Riches is rated High at 96.68%. By comparison Jewel Boom is gentler, at least by the studio's own rating.
Pros
- Simple 3x1 layout that is quick to read
- A diamond collector route to five fixed jackpots, according to the studio
- Coin symbols pay up to 10x the bet
- Free official demo available
Cons
- Studio text describes both five jackpots and three Jackpot Chests without explaining the link
- Volatility and max win exist only in studio copy, and the volatility is given in two different ways
Verdict
Jewel Boom Super Drop trades complexity for a short rule set and a collector mechanic that leads to jackpots. The RTP is 96.5%, giving a 3.5% house edge, and BGaming rates the volatility as medium-low, though its own text also says medium. The studio's 3,000x max multiplier is a ceiling, not a typical result. The free demo is the best way to see how the jackpot round plays out.
