Wolf Gold 4 Pack review

Wolf Gold 4 Pack takes the Wolf Gold brand, first recorded in the catalogue in 2017, and rebuilds the bonus around four grids at once. Pragmatic Play released this version in 2025. Moon symbols stick, carry cash values and reset a respin counter, while two bottom grids start locked. A full set of positions is worth an extra 1,000x. Our catalogue holds no volatility label or max win, so the rules and the RTP are what we can quote.

Two ways in

The studio describes two routes into the bonus. Landing three scatter symbols starts a Bonus Wheel, and the wheel leads to the feature. Landing five or more moon symbols opens the feature directly.

The round is played over four 5x3 grids. The bottom two start locked. A gold moon unlocks them,.

Respins and sticky moons

Every grid has its own respin counter. The feature uses a collect-and-hold logic: symbols stay, the counter resets, and the values are paid at the end.

Moon symbols

A moon lands with a cash value and stays in place. Each moon resets the respin count to three, but only for the grid it landed on. Because they stick, every new moon both adds value and gives that grid more time.

Gold moon

The gold moon also resets the respins, and it does so across all four grids at once. It is also the symbol that unlocks the two locked bottom grids, so it matters more than the plain moon.

Full-grid prize

When the feature ends, the values of all moons are paid. If every position is filled in either feature, an extra 1,000x is added on top.

Super Bonus Feature

A stronger version of the round, the Super Bonus Feature, starts with all four grids unlocked. It can be reached with six or more moon symbols, through the Bonus Wheel, or with five or more moons that include a gold moon.

The difference is plain: no waiting for a gold moon to open the lower grids. More positions are in play from the first respin, so there are more places to fill and the 1,000x prize is within reach of a larger board.

RTP, cost and the first game

The listed RTP is 96.51%, a house edge of 3.49%. Roughly $34.90 is lost per $1,000 wagered. In 100-spin sessions the average loss is $0.70 at $0.20, $3.49 at $1 and $17.45 at $5, or $500 wagered in total.

The original Wolf Gold from 2017 is listed at 96.01%, half a point lower, so this version costs less over the long run. Other 2025 games at 96.51% include Bee Keeper, Bounty Hunter and Fire Stampede 2, while Big Bass Bonanza 1000 is shown with a 20,000x max win.

Pros

  • Four grids in the bonus, with two bonus tiers
  • Sticky moon symbols reset the respin count
  • Extra 1,000x prize for filling every position
  • Higher RTP than the 2017 original (96.51% against 96.01%)
  • Free official demo available

Cons

  • No volatility label or max win in our catalogue
  • The bottom two grids stay locked in the standard Bonus Feature until a gold moon lands

Verdict

Wolf Gold 4 Pack is a hold-and-respin slot at heart: sticky moons, a respin counter and four grids, with a 1,000x prize if everything fills. The 96.51% RTP is above the 2017 original's 96.01% and carries a 3.49% house edge. Volatility is not published, so treat the demo as the way to learn how often the bonus arrives, and set stakes by the average cost of a session.
