Tiki Tumble review
Tiki Tumble is a jungle expedition on a 5x4 layout with 20 paylines. The idea Push Gaming leans on is the nudge: wilds that sit in the top positions slide down the reels from spin to spin, shifting where wins can form. A gold mask scatter opens a bonus with full wild stacks and free games that the studio calls unlimited. No volatility, max win or release year is published for it in our catalogue.
Layout and nudging wilds
The grid is five reels by four rows, and wins are made along 20 paylines. That is a conventional line structure, which makes the base game easy to follow for a newcomer.
The wild mechanic is the unusual part. Nudging wilds are triggered when one or more wild symbols appear in the top three symbol positions on one or more reels before a spin. Those stacks of wilds then nudge down the reels. Each shift moves the wild into a new position, and the studio describes it as shifting and sliding potential wins on every spin.
Gold masks and the Tiki Bonus
The scatter is the gold mask. Landing three or more of them anywhere on the reels sends you into the ruins and the free games.
Tiki Bonus
The bonus starts with full wild stacks on reels 2 and 4. Two of the five reels are therefore covered by wilds from the first free game, before any nudging has happened.
Unlimited free games and multipliers
During the free games, the wilds keep nudging with free respins, and the multiplier potential is described as infinite. The studio does not give a spin count or a multiplier ceiling, so the size of the round cannot be stated here.
What the numbers say
Tiki Tumble has two RTP versions on record: 96.49% and 94.36%. The higher one has a house edge of 3.51%, which is about $35.10 lost per $1,000 wagered. The lower has 5.64%, about $56.40 per $1,000. The studio adds that RTP may vary per casino and can be read in the game's user panel or on its loading screen.
A 100-spin session at $0.20 costs on average $0.70 on the higher version and $1.13 on the lower. At $1 a spin the figures are $3.51 and $5.64, and at $5 they are $17.55 and $28.20.
Similar RTP in the same studio
Retro Sweets sits at 96.49%, Giga Jar at 96.48%, and Dino P.D. at 96.5%. Boss Bear and Retro Tapes list 96.47%, and Fat Rabbit 96.45%. They all land within a few hundredths of this game, so the choice between them is a matter of mechanics and theme.
Pros
- Nudging wild stacks keep moving down the reels from spin to spin
- Free games begin with full wild stacks on reels 2 and 4
- Three gold masks anywhere on the reels open the bonus
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility label or max win in our catalogue
- A second RTP version of 94.36% has a 5.64% house edge
- The studio gives no spin count or multiplier cap for the free games
Verdict
Tiki Tumble keeps the base game simple, with 20 paylines on a 5x4 grid, and puts its character in the nudging wilds and a bonus that starts with wild stacks already in place. The 96.49% headline RTP and 3.51% house edge are ordinary, and without a published volatility or max win there is no clear sense of the ceiling. Play it as paid entertainment, and try the free demo first.
