Retro Sweets review
Retro Sweets pays in clusters of five or more candies, but the clusters are only the surface. Push Gaming has stacked several special symbols on top: Wild Candy that grows with every win, a Wild Multiplier that feeds it, Instant Prizes with bet multipliers up to 1000x, and a Sweet Collector that pulls matching symbols together. Understanding how they hand values to one another is the whole game.
Clusters and the Wild Candy
A win comes from a Cluster Link: five or more matching candies touching one another. The Wild Candy is the central symbol. According to the studio it substitutes for the other symbols, except the Special Symbols, and three or more of them landing anywhere on the reels start the Free Spins Feature.
Every Wild Candy carries its own multiplier, which starts at 1x. Each time it takes part in one or more cluster wins, the multiplier goes up by one. A Wild that keeps joining wins therefore becomes worth more with each use, and that growth is the engine of the base game.
The special symbols
Each special symbol changes the board in a different way. They also interact, so one can set up another.
Wild Multiplier
Carries a value of 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x. It passes that value to every Wild Candy in view, then changes into a random Instant Prize symbol. It is useful only when Wild Candy symbols are on the board at the same time.
Instant Prizes
Bet multipliers from 1x to 1000x. They pay when five or more form a cluster. An Instant Prize Multiplier symbol, valued at 2x, 5x or 10x, multiplies every Instant Prize in view and then turns into an Instant Prize of random value.
Sweet Collector
Picks one paying symbol at random and attracts every symbol of that kind, forming a cluster win. It can pull in Wild Candy symbols, paying symbols and Instant Prizes alike, so its result depends on what else is on the grid.
Free spins and the bet boosts
Three or more Wild Candy symbols open the Free Spins Feature. The studio says the round can begin with different rewards that depend on how many landed, but it does not list them, so the pack supports nothing more specific.
In the base game, paying extra changes the odds of that trigger. Raising the bet by 2x puts one Wild Candy on every base spin, and 4x puts two. The studio presents this as a way to increase cluster wins and the chance of the bonus. It makes each spin more expensive, and the pack gives no separate RTP for it.
RTP versions and costs
The catalogue lists two versions. At 96.49% the house edge is 3.51%, about $35.10 per $1,000 wagered. At 94.42% it is 5.58%, about $55.80 per $1,000. Push Gaming notes that the figure may differ between operators and can be checked on the loading screen.
A 100-spin session at 96.49% costs about $0.70 at a $0.20 bet, $3.51 at $1 and $17.55 at $5. The lower version raises those to $1.12, $5.58 and $27.90. No volatility label or maximum win is published, so we state neither.
Close neighbours by RTP
Tiki Tumble lists the same 96.49%. Dino P.D. is at 96.5%, Giga Jar at 96.48%, Boss Bear and Retro Tapes at 96.47%, and Fat Rabbit at 96.45%.

Verdict
Retro Sweets is a feature-dense cluster slot where every special symbol feeds another. The 96.49% version has a 3.51% house edge, but the 94.42% version costs more per session. Volatility and max win are not published, so the demo is the practical way to see how often Wild Candy multipliers actually build up.
