Shamrock Saints review
A gang of rowdy sprites has taken over the tavern, and Push Gaming turns the takeover into a slot with three linked systems. Tokens fill a Golden Pot, Mystery stacks nudge and reveal what lies beneath them, and when the pot bursts, a Shamrock Mode starts with a 10x multiplier. No volatility label, max win or release year is published for it in our catalogue.
The Golden Pot
Any Tokens that land in the base game are collected into the Golden Pot. The pot has a maximum level of five. Once it is full, further tokens that land have a chance to explode it, and an explosion starts Shamrock Mode. The wording is a possibility, not a promise, so a full pot does not mean an immediate burst.
Mystery stacks and reveals
Mystery Symbols land anywhere on the reels in stacks of four, in both the base game and the bonus. Landing them activates Nudge & Reveal: the stacks open and show Paying Symbols, Wild Symbols or Golden Leprechaun Symbols.
Leprechaun Reveal
Triggered when a Mystery Symbol reveals a Golden Leprechaun. All Leprechaun Reveal Symbols then spin through prizes such as Instant Prize, Multiplier, Collector, Chest and Scatter symbols.
Chest feature
Starts when a chest lands on reel 3 or during the Leprechaun Reveal. Five hidden chest prizes are shown, you choose one, and the game reveals all the possible prizes and awards the one you picked. An Instant Shamrock Mode Prize can appear here too.
Free spins and Shamrock Mode
In the normal free spins, reels 2 and 4 start filled with Mystery Symbols. Each spin nudges them down by one position, and each nudge raises the Total Multiplier by 1. The multiplier applies to all wins at the end of every spin, and the round runs until the last Mystery Symbol is nudged off the reels. The length of the round is therefore tied to the stacks, not to a fixed spin count.
Shamrock Mode is the stronger version. It starts either when the Golden Pot bursts or when you pick an Instant Shamrock Mode Prize in the Chest feature. It begins with a 10x starting Total Multiplier and the Mystery stacks nudged up three positions. When it ends, a new Golden Pot appears above the reels at a random initial level of 2, 3 or 4, partly filled by 40 to 60%.
RTP and session cost
Shamrock Saints lists two RTP versions. The headline 96.3% carries a 3.7% house edge, or about $37 per $1,000 wagered. The second, 94.46%, carries 5.54%, or $55.40 per $1,000. The studio states that RTP may vary per casino.
Over 100 spins at $0.20 the average cost is $0.74 on the first version and $1.11 on the second. At $1 it is $3.70 and $5.54, and at $5 it is $18.50 and $27.70.
Similar figures
Crystal Catcher and Fire Hopper list the same 96.3%. Cats of Olympuss is at 96.31%, DJ Cat at 96.32%, and DJ Fox and The Grand Show at 96.28%.
Pros
- Golden Pot ties the base game to the strongest bonus
- Shamrock Mode starts with a 10x Total Multiplier
- Free spins multiplier rises by 1 with every nudge
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility label or max win in our catalogue
- Several layered systems make the rules harder to learn
- A second RTP version of 94.46% has a 5.54% house edge
Verdict
Shamrock Saints is a layered design: tokens fill a pot, Mystery stacks reveal prizes, and the strongest bonus begins with a 10x multiplier. The 96.3% RTP and 3.7% house edge are ordinary, and the missing volatility and max win make the swings hard to judge from our data. Treat it as paid entertainment and try the free demo to see how the pot and the stacks behave.
