Possessed review
Possessed is Nolimit City's demon-themed slot, and the shape of its grid is the story. Reels of 3, 6, 6, 6 and 3 rows give 1,944 ways, and an inverted cross is marked out across the middle. Wilds that land on that cross can turn the whole of it wild with a multiplier, and an xActivation symbol fills cross positions with symbols from a special reel. Three free spin tiers differ in how much of the cross starts active.
The cross at the centre
Wins pay as ways from left to right across 1,944 ways in the base layout. The cross zone sits in the middle of the grid, and the regular wild can only land on the middle reel, which runs through it.
Where the wild lands decides what it does. A wild in the joint of the cross, where the arms meet, turns the entire cross wild with a 2x multiplier. A wild on another cross position turns the middle reel wild with a multiplier tied to that position. Either way, a single symbol can cover many positions at once. The published hit frequency is 30.84%, a little under one spin in three.
Cross Wild
Lands only on the middle reel. In the joint of the cross it makes the whole cross wild with a 2x multiplier; on the cross's other positions it turns the middle reel wild with the multiplier that matches that position.
xNudge Wild
According to the game page, this wild nudges until it fills its reel and raises its multiplier as it moves. The rules excerpt in our pack lists it without the step values.
Infection and activation
Two more mechanics feed the cross and the ways count. Both can appear in the base game.
Infectious xWays
Reveals two copies of the same paying symbol, then infects every matching symbol on the grid so they grow to the same size. A regular xWays symbol reveals two or three of the same paying symbol without the infection.
xActivation
At most one lands per spin. It triggers a respin and activates positions of the cross step by step, filling the active area with symbols from a special xCrucifix reel. Each time it fires, the lowest-paying symbol is removed from that reel, so later activations fill the cross with better symbols.
Necromancy, Atonement and Beelzebub
Three scatters start 9 Necromancy Spins with three cross positions active. Four scatters start 12 Atonement Spins with four positions active. Five start 15 Beelzebub Spins with the whole cross active from the start.
Additional scatters during any round add one spin and may move the round up to the next tier. Because active cross positions behave like the activated area in the base game, starting with more of them means more of the grid is filled with xCrucifix symbols from the first spin, and the top tier gives a cross wild a large area to work on.
Bets and options
