Jackrabbit Jackpots review
One symbol drives this whole game. In Red Tiger's May 2025 Wild West release, Jackrabbit Jack appears in the centre of the middle reel, leaves Wild Posters behind him and moves one position every spin. As long as he stays on the grid, the wilds keep coming; once he steps off, the feature ends. He can also shoot at three gold coins for instant stake multipliers or free spins. The catalogue rates the game Medium volatility, with a hit frequency of 41.12%.
Following Jack across the grid
The layout is 5x3 with 25 paylines and a stated bet range of €0.10 to €50.00. Jack is a Wild that substitutes for all paying symbols and helps form the longest win. He lands in the centre of the middle reel, creates random Wild Posters and stays in place.
At the start of every following spin he moves to a neighbouring position. If he is still visible he creates more Wilds. If he moves off the grid, the feature is over. The Wild Poster is also a wild, and it can appear on the reels by itself or be created by Jack.
The gold coins
After he creates Wilds, Jack may randomly shoot at three gold coins above the reels. Each coin can reveal a prize, and the instant prizes are stake multipliers. If several coins reveal the same prize, it is paid for each one.
Instant prizes
Mini pays 5x the stake, Minor 10x, Major 50x and Mega 1,000x. These are fixed multipliers of the bet, described by the studio as instant prizes; the text does not describe a progressive pot.
Bonus
At least one coin revealing Bonus starts the free spins. Each Bonus awards 7 spins, Jack cannot leave the reels during the round and he creates one or more Wild Posters on every spin. Each further Bonus revealed adds 7 more spins, and when the round ends Jack starts from the position of his last spin.
Super Bonus
A coin revealing Super Bonus upgrades the round to Super Free Spins. Each one also awards 7 spins, and all remaining spins, including any won alongside it, are played as Super Free Spins. If Bonus and Super Bonus are revealed together, all the spins become Super Free Spins.
The maths
Jackrabbit Jackpots has one RTP on record, 95.78%, a house edge of 4.22%. That is about $42.20 lost per $1,000 wagered over a long run. A 100-spin session costs about $0.84 at a $0.20 bet, $4.22 at $1 and $21.10 at $5.
The hit frequency is 41.12%, so a little more than four spins in ten return something. The maximum win is 3,005x the bet, or $601 at $0.20, $3,005 at $1 and $15,025 at $5. The Mega prize of 1,000x is about one third of that ceiling, so the top of the range sits well above the biggest single instant prize.
Medium volatility neighbours
Lucky Fridays lists 95.77% and 3,655x, Savannah Pride 95.74% and 3,425x, and Gems Gone Wild Power Reels 95.68% and 3,000x. Dragon King: Legend of the Seas lists 95.74% and 2,641x, Apache Way 95.75% and 2,571x, and 777 Strike from 2021 95.8% and 2,830x.
Pros
- A single roaming wild keeps generating Wild Posters while it stays on the grid
- Instant stake multipliers from 5x to 1,000x, plus Bonus and Super Bonus free spins
- Hit frequency of 41.12% at Medium volatility
- Free official demo available
Cons
- The wild feature ends the moment Jack leaves the grid
- A 4.22% house edge, about $42.20 per $1,000 wagered
- The studio text we have is cut off before the full Super Free Spins rules
Verdict
Jackrabbit Jackpots gives a single character the whole job: Jack moves, makes wilds and shoots for fixed prizes or free spins. The 95.78% RTP and Medium volatility mean a 4.22% house edge and a fairly lively pace, with 3,005x as the ceiling. The instant prizes are stake multipliers, not a growing pot. Try the free demo to see how long Jack tends to stay, and play only within a budget.
