Hot to Burn Extreme is a rework of an earlier release from the same studio, which describes it as a retro hit with an extreme makeover. The frame is simple: five reels, three rows, 40 paylines, one wild and one scatter. The big change sits in the numbers. The older Hot to Burn tops out at 1,000x the bet, and this version raises the ceiling to 5,000x.
A plain 5x3 payline layout
Wins pay on 40 lines from left to right on adjacent reels. The Wild substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. The scatter can appear on all reels and pays through the free spins, not through lines. The official text holds no tumbles, respins or expanding reels, so the base game is a straightforward spin and look. Because the free spins are the only bonus described, most of the 5,000x potential has to come from that round or from a large line win.
