Frenzy Clusters review
In Frenzy Clusters you pick one of five heroes before the first spin, and that character reacts to your wins as the cluster grid fills and clears. The board is dark, framed by rocks, and the rocks matter: winning combinations can open more space. Add three kinds of special symbol that blow holes in the grid, two bonus games and three Buy Bonus choices, and the design is busier than the average cluster slot.
Clusters on a rock-framed board
Wins come from groups of matching symbols, not from lines. The enchanted symbols sit on a black grid surrounded by rocks, and the studio describes the task as adventuring across the field. A techno-inspired soundtrack plays throughout, and the five characters keep you company with reactions to your results.
The rocks are the game's way of changing the size of the board. In the main game, winning combinations may unlock rock symbols, which extends the playing field for that spin. In the bonus game the rocks clear out instead, revealing three random multipliers and expanding the field until the round ends.
Rocket, Book and Sphere
Every spin can drop one random special symbol. They appear when clusters disappear, on the main reels and in the bonus games, and each one removes extra symbols to create room for new combinations.
Rocket
Clears the symbols in one horizontal or vertical line of the grid.
Book
Clears a 3x3 area of the grid.
Sphere
Destroys every copy of one randomly chosen symbol type on the reels.
Two bonus games and three purchases
The bonuses are Free Spins and Mega Free Spins, and the studio says both give the chance to collect more multipliers. Mega Free Spins is available through the Buy Bonus, and the studio notes that the whole reel is uncovered there for larger potential wins. The text we hold is cut off at that point, so further details are not confirmed.
A Chance Feature raises the likelihood of landing scatters. Three Buy Bonus options are offered, and the last one is a Mystery round that sends you into a random bonus mode. It is the only purchase where you do not choose what you are paying for.
The maths and the 10,000x ceiling
Frenzy Clusters has one recorded RTP, 97.11%, a house edge of 2.89%. That is about $28.90 per $1,000 wagered. In 100-spin terms, a $0.20 bet costs about $0.58, a $1 bet about $2.89 and a $5 bet about $14.45.
Volatility is High. Our catalogue lists no max win, while the studio's page names a x10,000 maximum win and a x10000 max multiplier in its spec panel. We give the figure as the studio's and not as catalogue data.
Comparable High-volatility releases
Fortune Bells from 2025 lists 97.09% and Bonanza Trillion 97.17%, both rated High. Keepers Of The Secret (2024) has 97.02%, Big Bucks Saloon 97.01%, Book of Hidden Tombs 97% and Grand Buffalo Hold and Win a lower 96.7%. The differences are small, so the choice is about mechanics: this one is the cluster game with a character picker.
Pros
- Cluster Pays with Rocket, Book and Sphere symbols that clear extra space
- Five selectable characters
- Two bonus games plus three Buy Bonus options
- Free official demo available
Cons
- High volatility, so long spells without a notable win are normal
- Our catalogue lists no max win; x10,000 comes from studio copy
- Part of the studio text on Mega Free Spins is cut off in our source
Verdict
Frenzy Clusters adds a lot to the usual cluster formula: a growing board, three clearing symbols and a choice of hero. The 97.11% RTP and High volatility describe a game that pays unevenly, and a 2.89% house edge applies to every stake. If you want to see how the Mystery round works, the free demo is the safe place to look.
