Alien Fruits 2 review
BGaming sends its quirky fruits back into space in this 2024 sequel to Alien Fruits. Wins clear away and the reels refill, multiplier symbols on screen are added together, and a bonus round with a teleport between two split reels keeps multipliers sticky. Its listed return is 97.17%, well above the 95.97% of the first game, and the volatility is Very high. The studio does not publish a max win, so this review cannot give one.
Refills and summed multipliers
The aim is to drop winning combinations on reels that refill after every win. The studio says any multipliers on screen during a successful spin are added up and applied to the win, rather than multiplied against each other.
The multiplier symbol itself appears in the main game and in the free spins. It stays on the reels until the refilling sequence ends. In the main game it takes a random value from x2 to x500. When the sequence is over, the values of all multiplier symbols on screen are summed and the total multiplies the final win. Several small values can therefore add up, and a single large one can carry a sequence.
Multiplier symbol
Lands in the main game and the free spins, holds its place until the refills stop, then joins all other multipliers on screen. The sum is applied to the whole sequence's win. In the main game each one is worth x2 to x500.
The bonus: split reels and a teleport
Four or more spacecraft scatters in one spin start the bonus. The view changes from first person to third person and the reels split into two, with an intergalactic teleport between them. The teleport carries all winning combinations across, and active multipliers stick to it until the bonus ends.
The round gives 15 free spins. Three or more scatters during the round add 5 extra spins. Multipliers that appear on winning spins stack and become sticky, so the later spins of a long round can carry much more weight than the first ones.
Chance x2 and Buy Bonus
Two optional tools change how the free spins are reached. They cannot be used together.
Chance x2
Bought in the main game. It raises the bet slightly and offers more chances of hitting the free spins. It is disabled while Buy Bonus is active.
Buy Bonus
Starts the free spins directly for the price shown on the button, which adjusts automatically when the bet changes. The feature is switched off during the bonus round.
What it costs to play
One RTP is on record, 97.17%, a house edge of 2.83%. That is about $28.30 lost per $1,000 wagered over a long run. A 100-spin session costs $0.57 on average at $0.20, $2.83 at $1 and $14.15 at $5.
Our catalogue lists the volatility as Very high. The max win is not published, so we cannot show the ceiling in money, and the high swings suggested by the volatility label should be treated as the main risk. A free official demo is available.
The first game and neighbours
The original Alien Fruits from 2023 is listed at 95.97% and High volatility, so the sequel raises both the return and the volatility rating. Among Very high games from 2024, Lucky 8 Merge Up, Lucky Ducky and Lucky Ducky X-mas all list 97.25%, Fortuna TRUEWAYS lists 97.07% and Diamond of Jungle 97.01%. Backyard Grill from 2025 matches the 97.17%.
Pros
- A 97.17% RTP, up from 95.97% in the first game
- Multipliers of x2 to x500 are summed across a refill sequence
- Sticky multipliers in a 15 free spins bonus
- Free official demo available
Cons
- Very high volatility
- No max win published in our data
- Chance x2 and Buy Bonus cannot be used together
Verdict
Alien Fruits 2 keeps the idea simple: refill, add up the multipliers and carry them through a bonus where they stick. The 97.17% RTP gives a 2.83% house edge, about $28.30 per $1,000, but Very high volatility means a session can swing far from that average, and without a published max win the ceiling is unknown. It suits players who are comfortable with that uncertainty. The free demo is the safe way to try the pace.
