Aloha King Elvis review
Aloha King Elvis sends a singing frog on holiday to Hawaii. BGaming released it in July 2021 and presents it as a follow-up to its Elvis Frog in Vegas. Beneath the beach-party theme is a 25-line game with two separate bonus routes: a Coin Respin that can pay three fixed jackpots, and a free spins round where the player picks one of two versions. The 94.98% RTP is the number to keep in mind from the start.
Lines, wilds and coins
The grid is a 5x3 layout with 25 lines. The Wild substitutes for every symbol on a winning line except the Scatter and the Coin, which keeps the two bonus symbols separate from the line game.
Coins are the symbol to watch. They carry values, and six or more of them in any position start the Coin Respin. Scatters lead elsewhere: three of them on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the main game open the free spins choice.
Coin Respin and the jackpots
Once the Coin Respin begins, the reels show only Coin symbols of different values, and the round starts with 3 respins. Every new Coin that lands retriggers the respins, and all Coins stay where they are until the round ends.
The fixed jackpots are tied to complete rows. Filling one horizontal line with Coins pays the Mini at 20x, two lines pay the Major at 100x, and all three lines pay the Mega at 1,000x. A random Collect symbol can also appear and add up the values of every Coin on the screen.
Coin Respin
Six or more Coins anywhere start a bonus with only Coin symbols and 3 respins. Each new Coin retriggers the respins, and Coins stay fixed until the end. Completing one, two or three horizontal lines of Coins pays the Mini, Major or Mega jackpot.
Collect symbol
Appears at random during the Coin Respin and sums up the values of all Coin symbols currently on the screen, turning them into one payout.
Pick your party
Three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 present a choice between two free spins rounds. Special Guest Party gives 5 free spins with a Giant symbol. VIP Party gives 8 free spins in which only high and middle-paying symbols appear. Both versions can be retriggered.
The choice is a trade-off between fewer spins with a large symbol and more spins on a reel set stripped of the lowest symbols. The studio does not give the size of the Giant symbol or separate returns for the two options, so neither can be called the better pick from the published facts.
Chance x2.5
Raises the bet in exchange for more chances to reach either the free spins or the Coin Respin. It changes how often bonuses arrive, at a higher cost per spin.
Buy Bonus
Either the free spins or the Coin Respin can be bought outright at the price shown on the Buy Bonus button. It is a shortcut to a feature, not a cheaper version of it.
Numbers on record
The catalogue lists one RTP, 94.98%, which leaves a house edge of 5.02%. Over a long run that means about $50.20 per $1,000 wagered. In shorter terms, 100 spins average a cost of $1 at $0.20, $5.02 at $1 and $25.10 at $5.
Our catalogue has no volatility label or max win for this game. BGaming's page describes the volatility as Medium-high, gives a maximum multiplier of x2,000 and a cap of €250,000 in money. Its details panel also shows a hit rate of 2.22 and an FS rate of 209 without explaining the units, so we pass them on as given.

- Fixed jackpots of 20x, 100x and 1,000x for completed Coin rows
- Both free spins versions can be retriggered
- A free official demo is available
Cons
- The 94.98% RTP means a 5.02% house edge
- Volatility and max win come only from studio copy, not our catalogue
- Chance x2.5 and Buy Bonus both raise the cost of play
Verdict
Aloha King Elvis packs a lot into 25 lines: a Coin Respin with jackpots of 20x, 100x and 1,000x, a Collect symbol, and a choice between 5 spins with a Giant symbol or 8 spins on premium symbols. The 94.98% RTP is low and means a 5.02% house edge, and BGaming describes the volatility as Medium-high. Try the free demo to see which party suits you, and set a budget before playing for money.
