Resurrecting Riches review
A phoenix is the centrepiece of this 2025 Pragmatic Play release. The game uses an unusual split: money symbols land on reels one to five, and a collector symbol on reel six picks them up. If money symbols land without it, a respin holds them in place. The bonus builds on the same idea, with values marked on the grid and revealed when a collector arrives, which the studio says always happens in the round.
Money symbols and the sixth reel
Money symbols with values up to 500x can land on reels one to five. They are paid only when the phoenix collect symbol lands on reel six. That gives the sixth reel a different job from the others: it decides whether the cash already on the board is collected.
When five or more money symbols land without a phoenix, a respin starts and all money symbols are held in place. A mystery symbol can also appear. When one or more land, they turn into a matching paying symbol or a money symbol.
The bonus game
Some money symbols come with a Bonus value attached. Collecting one starts the bonus with 8, 10 or 12 free spins. In the round, money symbols that land leave a shadow on their position for the whole feature, with the value attached to that grid position.
The studio states that at least one phoenix collect symbol always appears during the feature. When it lands, the shadows turn back into money symbols and their values are awarded. So the round is a build-up towards a single collection point, rather than a series of separate payouts.
Bonus money symbol
A money symbol that carries a Bonus value. When it is collected, the bonus game begins with either 8, 10 or 12 free spins.
Shadow positions
In the free spins, each money symbol leaves a shadow on its position until the feature ends. The values are awarded when a collect symbol lands and turns the shadows back into money symbols.
The numbers
Resurrecting Riches has one recorded RTP, 96.5%, a house edge of 3.5%. On average $1,000 wagered costs $35. Over 100 spins, the average cost is $0.70 at $0.20, $3.50 at $1 and $17.50 at $5, a total of $500 wagered.
Volatility and max win are not published in our catalogue. The 500x figure belongs to a single money symbol and is not the largest possible win.
Similar 2025 games
Pragmatic Play's 5 Lions Reborn and Alien Invaders also run at 96.5% and list a 5,000x max win, and 5 Lions Megaways 2 lists 8,000x. 777 Rush, Big Bass Boxing Bonus Round and Big Bass Halloween 3 match the RTP without a recorded max win.
Pros
- Money symbols up to 500x, collected by a dedicated reel-six symbol
- Respin holds money symbols in place when five or more land without a collector
- Bonus offers 8, 10 or 12 free spins, and a collect symbol always lands during the round
- Free official demo available
Cons
- Values are only paid when a collect symbol lands, which makes the order of events matter
- No volatility label or max win in our catalogue
Verdict
Resurrecting Riches turns a familiar money-symbol mechanic into a two-part design: cash on reels one to five, a collector on reel six. The 96.5% RTP and 3.5% house edge match many of the similar games listed on our site. With no published volatility or max win, the free demo is the best way to see how often values are collected and how long the bonus takes to build.
