Fortune Spin review
Fortune Spin replaces reels with a single wheel. You press spin, the wheel stops on a sector, and the sector decides the payout. BGaming released it in 2025 and added a twist that sets it apart from a plain wheel: some sectors are empty, and each time the wheel lands on one it is removed. Four wheel modes, from easy to daredevil, each come with their own top prize shown on screen, so you know what is at stake before you spin.
Reading the wheel
The wheel has two kinds of sectors: empty ones marked with a 0, and ones carrying a multiplier. When the wheel stops on a multiplier sector, the bet is multiplied by that value. When it stops on an empty sector, you receive no payout for that spin, but the sector is taken off the wheel. The studio presents this as a way of increasing the chances of landing a good multiplier later on.
One sector on every wheel is coloured red. It is the max multiplier segment, and landing on it applies the wheel's top multiplier to your bet.
Four wheels, four ceilings
The mode decides the ratio of empty to multiplier sectors and the size of the top prize. The max win amount is displayed in the centre of the wheel, and it depends on the mode and on your bet.
Easy
The lowest-volatility wheel. Its red segment carries a top multiplier of 25x.
Medium
The next step up, with a top multiplier of 100x on the red segment.
Hard
A higher-volatility wheel whose red segment is worth 500x.
Daredevil
The most extreme wheel, which the studio ties to very high volatility. Its red segment carries 10,000x.
Pace and controls
A Lightning button beneath the wheel switches on Turbo mode for faster play, and another press switches it off. An Auto button below the wheel starts Autoplay, which lets you watch spins unfold without pressing the button each time. Stakes are picked from a choice at the bottom right of the main game area.
The studio says the game is inspired by its Plinko 2. Fast modes shorten the time between spins, and since every spin costs the same average share of the stake, a faster wheel means money is wagered more quickly.
What the numbers say
The catalogue lists one RTP of 98%, a house edge of 2%. That is about $20 per $1,000 wagered over a long run. For 100 spins the average cost is $0.40 at $0.20, $2 at $1 and $10 at $5, which is $500 wagered.
Here the sources disagree on volatility. The catalogue gives a single label, Medium, while the studio describes four wheels that run from low to very high. We pass on both: the label belongs to the game as a whole, and the four levels belong to the modes. The catalogue does not publish a max win, so the 25x, 100x, 500x and 10,000x ceilings come only from BGaming.
Each spin is random, and the removal of empty sectors is part of the design rather than a pattern to play around. The text does not give separate RTPs for the four modes, so 98% is the one figure to rely on.
Pros
- Four modes with top multipliers of 25x, 100x, 500x and 10,000x shown on screen
- Empty sectors vanish after being hit
- Turbo and Autoplay controls
- 98% RTP and a 2% house edge
Cons
- The catalogue has no max win; the four ceilings come from studio copy
- Catalogue volatility (Medium) and studio mode descriptions (low to very high) do not line up directly
Verdict
Fortune Spin is a one-button wheel game where the mode sets the ceiling, from 25x up to 10,000x. The vanishing empty sectors are its distinctive rule. With a 98% RTP and 2% house edge the long-run cost is modest, but the swings differ a great deal by mode, so use the free demo to see how each wheel behaves before staking anything. It is paid entertainment, not income.
