Fruit Million review
With a 97.34% RTP, Fruit Million returns more than almost anything else BGaming makes. The 2020 release is a traditional fruit game with a hundred paylines, wilds that expand over whole reels and an optional card gamble after each win. It also changes its look through the year, with seasonal versions for holidays from Easter to Oktoberfest, each of which appears in the catalogue at the same RTP.
One hundred lines of fruit
The symbols are the classics: fruits, diamonds, bells and four-leaf clovers. They pay across 100 paylines, a large number for a game of this style, which gives each spin many routes to a win.
Bell and Diamond act as scatters. The studio does not describe what they pay or whether they trigger anything, so this review does not assume a bonus round.
Wilds and the gamble
The features are few and easy to follow. Wilds do most of the work in the base game, while the gamble is an optional step after a win.
Wild
Substitutes for every symbol except the Bell and Diamond scatters. It only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, so it always lands in the middle of the grid.
Expanded Wild
Whenever a wild lands, it expands to fill its whole reel, taking the upper and lower positions as well and helping to complete winning lines across the 100 paylines.
Gamble round
Available after any win in the main game. You guess the colour or the suit of a face-down card for a chance to double the win; a wrong guess loses it.
A seasonal chameleon
BGaming describes the game as one that changes its skin for occasions including Christmas, Easter, St. Valentine's Day, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day and Oktoberfest, returning to its standard look afterwards. The studio says each reskin brings new features and improvements, though it does not say which.
Seven of those editions are listed separately in our catalogue, from Fruit Million Easter to Fruit Million X - mas, all from 2020 and all at 97.34%. A newer Fruit Million Respin from 2026 lists 97% with Medium volatility.
Return and cost
A 97.34% RTP means a house edge of 2.66%, or about $26.60 kept per $1,000 wagered over a long run.
In practice, 100 spins at $1 cost $2.66 on average, and 100 spins at $5 cost $13.30. No volatility rating is published. The studio's own FAQ puts the biggest possible win at 3,000 times the stake.
The gamble round does not change those averages in the player's favour; it adds risk to each win it is used on.
Who it suits
Fruit Million suits players who want a traditional look with a better-than-usual return and who are happy without free spins. The 100 lines and expanding wilds keep the base game active. The gamble is optional, and skipping it keeps sessions closer to the published averages.
Pros
- Expanding wilds across 100 paylines
- Seasonal editions at the same RTP
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No free spins round described
- Top win of 3,000x the stake is modest
- No volatility rating published
Verdict
Fruit Million keeps the classic fruit formula and adds just enough: 100 paylines, wilds that expand over reels 2 to 4 and an optional card gamble. Its 97.34% RTP leaves only a 2.66% house edge, while the 3,000x top win is modest and no volatility rating is published. It is a sensible pick for players who value the return over features, played within a budget set in advance.
