Fat Drac review
Push Gaming calls Fat Drac the third game in its Fat Series, and gives it a vampire theme meant for any time of year. The board is 5 by 5 with 40 win lines. Instead of a plain scatter bonus, the main game is built around a single symbol that reveals what is underneath, bats that fly to prize bubbles, and a meter that makes the vampire grow. Our catalogue has two RTP versions for it and no volatility label.
One symbol, two jobs
The Fat Drac symbol is both a Reveal and a Scatter. When it lands, it can uncover either a paying symbol or a Bat. A revealed Bat flies to one of the Instant Prize Bubbles, and that prize is paid out immediately.
The bubbles are bet multipliers, and the studio says they climb as high as 50,000x. Seven bubbles are shown at a time, and they nudge along by one position with every spin. They exist in the base game and the free games. The 50,000x is a bubble prize, so do not read it as a catalogue max win, which is not published.
Free games and the Fat Drac meter
The free games start when a Fat Drac symbol lands while one or more Goblet symbols are also on the reels. Goblets feed a meter. As Fat Drac collects them, the meter moves up and the character changes in size, and each time he reaches a new level, free spins are awarded according to that level. The studio's description of the free games is that he gets fatter and fatter.
Fat Bat rumble
In the base game a rumble can happen at any moment, dimming the reels. If the Fat Bat is triggered, it sits on the reels and collects every Instant Prize Bubble on display, then pays a win.
Coffin symbol
Lands in the base game and the free games and starts a Pick feature. In the base game you choose a prize that is a number of bats, up to five, which then fly to the bubbles. In the free games the prizes include a set of free spins, a Goblet symbol or more bats.
Two versions, two house edges
We record two RTPs for Fat Drac. At 96.57% the house edge is 3.43%, or about $34.30 per $1,000 wagered. At 94.05% it is 5.95%, or $59.50 per $1,000. The studio notes that the RTP can differ by operator and that the figure can be found in the user panel and on the loading screen.
Over 100 spins at $0.20, the cost is $0.69 at the higher version and $1.19 at the lower. At $1 per spin it is $3.43 against $5.95, and at $5 ($500 wagered) it is $17.15 against $29.75. The gap is larger than it looks per spin, which is why checking the version in the game matters.
What is not published
Neither volatility nor a max win appears in our catalogue for this game, and the studio text we hold does not give them either. That limits how far a review can go. The practical advice is to use the free demo to see how often the bubbles pay before staking anything.
Another Push Gaming title
Mystery Museum lists a 96.58% RTP in the catalogue, close to the higher Fat Drac version. Razor Returns has 96.55%, Dino P.D. 96.5%, and Retro Sweets and Tiki Tumble 96.49%, while Giga Jar lists 96.48%.
Pros
- Instant Prize Bubbles that the studio says reach 50,000x
- Meter that grows with Goblets and awards free spins by level
- Pick feature with up to five bats
- Free official demo available
Cons
- The lower version has a 5.95% house edge
- No volatility rating or max win in our catalogue
- Several features interact, which takes time to follow
Verdict
Fat Drac is a feature-dense vampire slot where bats feed prize bubbles, Goblets grow the meter and a Coffin opens a pick game. We list two RTPs, 96.57% and 94.05%, with house edges of 3.43% and 5.95%, and no volatility rating. Check which version the game runs and treat it as paid entertainment with a fixed budget, trying the demo first.
