Trillionaire review
Trillionaire is a glamour-party slot where the main characters double as wilds. In this February 2021 release from Red Tiger, five Supermodels turn wild whenever one is fully on screen, and the reels can nudge a half-visible one into place. Two bonuses sit on top: free spins that clear out the low-paying jewels, and a Fashion Wheel of four rings where the innermost prize equals the 1,000x ceiling.
Five reels, four rows, twenty lines
The layout is five reels with four rows each and 20 lines, with stakes from €0.10 to €50 according to the studio. Jewels fill the low-paying slots of the paytable and the Supermodels the high ones.
The studio quotes a hit frequency of 19.78%, which works out to roughly one win every five spins. For a game rated High volatility, that points to plenty of empty rounds between results.
Supermodel Wilds
A Supermodel symbol that is fully visible turns into a Wild and substitutes for all paying symbols. When one appears only partly, the reel may randomly nudge it until the whole symbol is in view, which then makes it wild.
The Fashion Wheel
Three Wheel symbols on the first, third and fifth reels start the Fashion Wheel, a set of four concentric rings that the player works inward through. Each ring either pays an instant multiple of the stake or opens the next ring.
The structure is a ladder with an exit at every step. The outer ring pays 5x or moves on. The second pays 10x or 30x, or moves on. The third pays 50x or 100x, or moves on. Reaching the centre pays a 1,000x mega win, the same figure as the game's maximum.
Fashion Wheel
Triggered by three Wheel symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. Four rings of stake multipliers: 5x in the first, 10x or 30x in the second, 50x or 100x in the third, and 1,000x in the fourth. Each ring can award its prize or send the wheel one ring further in.
Free spins without the jewels
Three Free Spins symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 award 8 free spins. For the whole round, every low-paying symbol is removed, so the reels hold only the higher-value symbols and the wilds.
Before the first spin, the player picks one of the five Supermodels. Whenever the chosen one lands partly in view, she always nudges fully onto the screen and becomes a wild. That improves the odds of completing lines, but a wild still needs matching symbols beside it to pay.
Chosen Supermodel
Selected at the start of the free spins. In base play, nudges are random; during the round the selected Supermodel nudges into full view every time she appears partially, turning wild each time.
The cost side
Trillionaire has one RTP on record, 95.76%, which is a house edge of 4.24%. Over a long run that comes to about $42.40 per $1,000 wagered. For 100 spins, the average cost is $0.85 at $0.20, $4.24 at $1 and $21.20 at $5.
The top win of 1,000x is $200 at $0.20, $1,000 at $1 and $5,000 at $5. That is a modest ceiling for a High volatility rating, so the swings here come from uneven timing of the bonuses rather than from a huge maximum.
Megaways edition and alternatives
Trillionaire Megaways is the related title, listed at 96.68% with Very high volatility and a 35,841x cap, a much higher return and range. Games with figures close to the original include Red Hot BBQ at 95.66% and 1,110x, Forever 7's at 95.69% and 1,500x, and Golden Tsar at 95.77% and 1,936x, each rated High.
Pros
- Supermodels turn wild and can nudge into full view
- A Fashion Wheel with published values from 5x to 1,000x
- Free spins remove every low-paying symbol
- Your chosen Supermodel always nudges in during free spins
Cons
- A 19.78% hit frequency means many empty spins
- Only 8 free spins, with no retrigger described
- The 1,000x ceiling is modest for High volatility
Verdict
Trillionaire works with a small set of ideas: nudging Supermodel wilds, a four-ring Fashion Wheel whose centre pays 1,000x, and 8 free spins without low-paying jewels. The 95.76% RTP leaves a 4.24% house edge, and High volatility with a 19.78% hit frequency means sessions swing. It suits players who like transparent bonus values. Decide your budget before you start and stick to it.
