Sumo Supreme Megaways review
Sumo wrestlers, kettlebells and trophy wilds set the scene in this 2024 Megaways release from Pragmatic Play. The reels change shape from spin to spin and tumble after wins, but the idea that sets it apart is the weight system. Symbols and reels both carry hidden weights, and when a reel's symbols outweigh the number below it, the reel breaks and hands out a special symbol.
Megaways, tumbles and instant pay
The five-reel board uses the Megaways mechanic, so the number of ways to win changes each spin, and winning symbols tumble away to make room for new ones. A single spin can therefore keep paying while new combinations form.
Instant pay symbols add another layer. When one of them is part of a winning combination, its value is added to that combination's win.
Breaking the reels
Each symbol and each reel is assigned a weight at random. Every time the combined weight of the symbols on a reel equals or exceeds the weight shown below it, the reel breaks and a special symbol is awarded. Each cascade reduces the reel's weight by one, so a long tumble sequence brings the target closer.
