Mummy’s Jewels review
Mummy's Jewels is built around one symbol on the first reel. Pragmatic Play's Egyptian-themed release from 2025 uses an Eye of Ra collect symbol that sweeps up the money values sitting next to it, while three coloured wilds are banked above the reels and can each unlock a different feature. Purple, green and red can also fire together, and that combination logic is what separates one bonus from the next.
The collect symbol and 243 ways
Regular wins use 243 ways across five reels, paid for matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. Wilds substitute for everything except the collect and money symbols. Each colour of wild is tied to one reel: purple can only appear on reel 2, red only on reel 3 and green only on reel 4.
The collect symbol can land only on reel 1, and money symbols only on reels 2 to 5. When a collect lands alongside money symbols on adjacent reels, starting from reel 2, the connected values are added up and paid. A money symbol stranded beyond a gap therefore pays nothing on that spin.
What a money symbol can be worth
Each money symbol picks a random value every spin. The ordinary set is 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 75, 100, 150, 200, 375, 750 or 1,500 times the base bet. Five named awards are paid on the total bet instead: MINI at 12x, MINOR at 25x, MAJOR at 300x, MEGA at 1,000x and GRAND at 10,000x.
Note the split between base bet and total bet in the rules. The ordinary values are scaled to the base stake, while the five named awards use the full stake.
Purple, green and red wilds
Every wild that lands is collected at the top of the screen, and at random moments that collection triggers a feature. Which one depends on the colour.
Upgrade (purple)
A wheel of fortune appears with money amounts and named awards on its slices. Random slices are then raised by 50, 100, 200, 250 or 1,000 times the base bet. Slices that hold jackpot values are excluded from the upgrade, so it improves the ordinary amounts only.
Extra (green)
The studio describes the green wild as the trigger for a feature that allows more prizes to be won. Our copy of the rules is cut off before its full details, so the exact number of extra prizes is not something we can state.
Respins (red)
The red wild starts a round of 5 to 50 respins on a grid where only collect and money symbols can land. After each respin a multiplier of up to 10x is applied to that respin's win, according to the studio's game page.
When colours combine
Purple and green can trigger together, which pairs the wheel upgrade with the extra prizes. Red combined with purple lifts the potential number of respins by up to 20, and red with green also offers more respins to be won. If all three wilds trigger at once, the studio says several options are awarded and added together into one total number of respins for the round.
The practical takeaway is that the red wild is the gateway to the longest feature, and the other two colours mostly change how rich it becomes.
RTP, edge and the cap
A single RTP of 96.5% is listed, which equals a 3.5% house edge, or $35 kept by the game on every $1,000 staked over time. One hundred spins cost $0.70 on average at a $0.20 stake, $3.50 at $1 and $17.50 at $5.
The maximum payout is limited to 10,000x the bet: $2,000 on a $0.20 spin, $10,000 on $1 and $50,000 on $5. There is no published volatility rating, and no free spins round, so the money values and the wild features carry the game.
Related releases
Mummy's Jewels 100 arrived in 2026 at the same 96.5% RTP. Among similar games from 2025, Anaconda Gold lists 96.54% and Aztec Gems Megaways 96.58%, both capped at 10,000x, while 5 Lions Megaways 2 matches the 96.5% RTP with an 8,000x ceiling.
Pros
- Clear collect rule: reel 1 collect plus adjacent money symbols
- Respins with a multiplier of up to 10x after each spin
- Three wild features that stack when triggered together
- Free official demo available
Cons
- Wild-triggered features start at random, with no published odds
- No volatility rating is published
Verdict
Mummy's Jewels rewards connected money symbols beside a reel 1 collect and hides its depth in three coloured wilds that upgrade a prize wheel, add prizes or start 5 to 50 respins with multipliers up to 10x. The RTP is 96.5%, and volatility is unrated. The 10,000x cap is rare by design. Use the demo first and keep the 3.5% edge in mind.
