Honey Rush 100 review
Honey Rush 100 builds on the 2019 Honey Rush with a hexagonal grid on which you clear Diamond, Flower or Honey symbols in clusters of five or more. Play'n GO's 2023 sequel adds a honey pot that raises the multiplier, wilds that stick and slide down towards it, and an Overcharge Meter that can upgrade the central symbol. Its volatility is rated Very high, and no max win is published.
The hexagonal grid and random wilds
Wins are made by clearing clusters of five or more symbols on the hexagonal grid. A Random Wild feature can fire at any time and places two to four wilds on random spots, giving an extra chance to win. The studio adds no detail on how often it happens.
Sticky wilds and the Honey Pot
When a sticky wild is part of a winning cluster, it stays on the grid and moves to the lowest free position on the cluster. That move can be diagonal, left or right, or straight down. The wild stays until it is part of a winning cluster in one of the bottom seven spaces. At that point it drops into the Honey Pot, which raises your multiplier by one.
The sequence gives the grid a direction. Wilds work their way downwards, and each one that reaches the pot adds to the multiplier.
Overcharge Meter
When the on-screen indicator is full, it turns into a powerful Overcharge Meter. Up to 15 symbols can be collected, and the central symbol is upgraded each time until it cannot be upgraded further.
Drone Colony
Using the Drone Colony raises the multiplier by x2 for every wild that reaches the bottom.
Worker colony
Choosing the worker colony awards a bonus to the multiplier for every wild that reaches the bottom. The studio does not give the size of the bonus.
Unused Overcharge units
Any Overcharge units that are not spent on upgrading the centre symbol add x3 to the multiplier, which the studio describes as leading to more significant wins.
