Chicken Rush 2 review
Chicken Rush 2 is a step game from BGaming. A chicken crosses a busy road one lane at a time, and every lane it clears raises the multiplier on your bet. Cash out while it is standing on a safe spot and the round pays. Get hit and the round is over. The sequel builds on the earlier Chicken Rush and adds two twists: Rush dashes across several lanes at once, and a golden egg that can lift the multiplier sharply.
Crossing the road, step by step
At the start of a round you set a stake and a difficulty, then move the chicken from lane to lane. Chips lie around the road, and each one the chicken picks up takes the multiplier a little higher. If a car hits the chicken while it moves, the round ends and you start over.
The only way to be paid is to cash out while the chicken is on a safe spot. Reaching the other side safely is the end of the road, and the studio states a multiplier of up to 2,505x for that on the highest difficulty. Our catalogue publishes no max win, so that figure is the studio's claim alone.
Difficulty
The game offers several difficulty settings, with EASY and HARDCORE named in the studio text. Multiplier values climb faster on a harder setting, but the chance of being hit by a car is higher as well, and the studio says so directly. The difficulty therefore decides how the multiplier ladder and the danger scale together, and the studio's top multiplier is tied to the hardest setting.
The two new features
Both are random. You do not trigger them on purpose.
Rush
Now and again the chicken dashes forward across several lanes in one move and grabs extra chips on the way. The extra chips push the multiplier further than a single step would, and the studio says this can have a significant effect on the reward depending on the difficulty.
Multiplier Booster (golden egg)
A golden egg can appear at random in front of the chicken, at least one lane ahead. It carries a multiplier higher than the one that spot would normally give. When the chicken reaches the egg without being hit, the higher multiplier is applied.
Autoplay and skins
In Autoplay you choose the number of rounds, and you can have the run stop early if your budget falls below a level you set. You also set an auto cash-out multiplier. If the chicken reaches that value or higher, through either Rush or a golden egg, the game cashes out and begins a new round on its own.
Before a round, a click on the transparent chicken icon changes the character's skin. There are 4: Regular, Cowboy, Tourist and Big Shot. The studio text describes nothing beyond the choice of skin.
What the numbers say
The RTP on record is 97%, a house edge of 3%, or about $30 per $1,000 wagered. A session of 100 rounds at $0.20 costs about $0.60 on average, at $1 about $3, and at $5, which is $500 wagered, about $15. The catalogue has no volatility label.
Each round is random and independent. Choosing an earlier or later cash-out point, or an auto cash-out value, changes how the outcomes are spread, but it does not change the long-run return, and nothing here is a system for winning. The original Chicken Rush, from 2024, is also listed at 97%.
Pros
- Simple rule: cash out on a safe spot or lose the round
- Rush and golden egg add random jumps to the multiplier
- Autoplay with a stop on low budget and an auto cash-out value
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility label or max win in the catalogue; 2,505x is only the studio's statement
- A single hit by a car ends the round, whatever the multiplier had reached
Verdict
Chicken Rush 2 keeps the idea of a step game easy to follow: the multiplier grows with every lane, and a car can end the round at any moment. Rush and the golden egg are the new random swings, and difficulty links the speed of growth to the risk. The 97% RTP and 3% house edge are the figures to keep in mind.
