15 Coins review
Most slots pay something on ordinary spins. 15 Coins, by the studio's own account, does not: its base game has no payouts, and every prize is collected in the Hold the Jackpot round. Wazdan released it in 2023 as the fifth game derived from 9 Coins, using a 5x3 screen where each of the 15 positions spins as its own reel. It is a narrow, bonus-only design with a High volatility rating.
Fifteen reels, no paylines
The screen looks like a standard 5x3 slot, but there are no paylines. Each of the 15 positions is a separate reel that spins on its own. Symbols that land are not lined up into wins; instead they are steps toward the bonus.
Wazdan describes the lack of base-game payouts as the core of the Coins math model. The trade-off is clear: ordinary spins return nothing directly, and in exchange the bonus round is meant to carry more weight. For a player, that means a session is judged almost entirely by how often the bonus arrives and what it collects.
Getting into Hold the Jackpot
To trigger the bonus, every reel in the middle row has to be covered with a symbol. Any of the game's special symbols counts, so the five middle positions act as the entry gate. The studio puts it in numbers: 5 bonus symbols to enter, and 3 rows to fill for an increased Grand Jackpot.
Wazdan also mentions an option that lets players customise the experience to raise their chances of entering the bonus round. The page in the pack does not name it or give its cost, so we cannot say more than that it exists.
The symbols and what they do
All the symbols below appear both in the base game and in the bonus round. Mini, Minor and Major Jackpot symbols, plus Mystery and Jackpot Mystery symbols, complete the set; the studio text describes their roles only briefly.
Hold the Jackpot
The bonus starts with 3 respins and the goal of covering as many positions as possible. Each time a new symbol lands, the respin count goes back to 3, so the round lasts as long as symbols keep arriving. Filling all three rows is what leads to the increased Grand Jackpot, according to the studio.
Cash and Cash Infinity symbols
The Cash symbol, shown as a shiny coin, awards a prize of 1x to 5x the bet. Cash Infinity, a red coin, pays 5x to 10x the bet. Both also count toward covering the middle row, so they double as the key to the bonus. Wazdan presents Cash Infinity as an engagement tool.
Collector
Shown as a chest of gold coins, the Collector is listed among the symbols that appear in both the base game and Hold the Jackpot. The studio text in the pack is cut off before it explains exactly what it collects, so its precise effect is not something we can describe here.
Where the 96.07% RTP lands
There is one RTP version, 96.07%, with a house edge of 3.93%. Over $1,000 wagered the expected cost is about $39.30. For 100 spins the averages are $0.79 at $0.20, $3.93 at $1 and $19.65 at $5.
No max win or hit frequency is published in our data. The volatility is High, which fits a game whose base spins pay nothing on their own.
In practice, the balance tends to drift down between bonuses and jump when one lands. Anyone trying the game should decide in advance how many spins they are willing to fund while waiting, since the studio says ordinary spins are not where the payouts come from.
Other Coins games
Two later editions are listed: 15 Coins Grand Gold Edition from 2024 at 96.18% and 15 Coins Grand Diamond Edition from 2025 at 96.15%, both High. Both have a slightly higher RTP than the original. Related titles from 2023 include 12 Coins at 96.13% and 9 Coins Grand Platinum Edition at 96.04%.
Pros
- Simple goal: cover the middle row to reach the bonus
- Respins in Hold the Jackpot reset to 3 every time a symbol lands
- Cash symbols worth 1x to 5x and Cash Infinity worth 5x to 10x the bet
Cons
- No payouts in the base game, by the studio's own description
- No free demo in our data and no published max win
- Some symbol effects are only partly described by the studio
Verdict
15 Coins is a pure bonus hunt: base spins pay nothing, five middle-row symbols open Hold the Jackpot, and respins reset with every new symbol. That clarity is its strength. The weaknesses are the High volatility that comes with a no-pay base game and a 96.07% RTP with a 3.93% house edge. Set a firm budget before starting.
