12 Coins review
Twelve reels instead of nine is the headline change in this 2023 Wazdan release. 12 Coins keeps the rule that base spins never pay and every prize comes from the Hold the Jackpot bonus, but it widens the layout, raises the Collector multiplier range and puts a Grand Jackpot of 750x the bet at the top. Volatility is rated High, a step up from the original 9 Coins.
From nine reels to twelve
Wazdan presents 12 Coins as the 9 Coins formula with three extra reels and a bigger Grand Jackpot. The structure is the same: the base game is only a way to collect bonus symbols, and no line or symbol wins are paid there.
To start the bonus, four bonus symbols have to land on the middle row. Cash Infinity symbols remain part of the design and support that trigger.
Bonus symbols and their values
Once the round begins you get 3 re-spins. Every new bonus symbol that lands sets the count back to three, so the round runs as long as symbols keep arriving.
The values are more generous at the top end than in the first game: the Collector can multiply by as much as 20x, and the Grand Jackpot is 750x the bet.
Hold the Jackpot
Starts when four bonus symbols land on the middle row. It opens with 3 re-spins, and each new bonus symbol resets them to three. Symbols collected during the round decide the payout.
Cash and Cash Infinity
Cash symbols pay 1x to 5x the bet. Cash Infinity symbols are worth 5x to 10x the bet and play a part in reaching the bonus from the base game.
Collector
Collects the values of every Cash and Cash Infinity symbol on the reels and multiplies the total by 1x to 20x.
Mystery and jackpots
Mystery symbols turn into any other cash symbol except Cash Infinity. Mini, Minor and Major symbols award the matching jackpot, and the Grand Jackpot tops the table at 750x the bet.
Return, edge and session cost
The single RTP is 96.13%, a 3.87% house edge. That is an average of $38.70 kept from every $1,000 wagered.
A hundred $0.20 spins average $0.77 in cost; a hundred $5 spins average $19.35. The High rating matters more than these averages here, because a game that pays only in its bonus produces sessions that are mostly empty spins punctuated by occasional larger returns. No overall max win is published in our data beyond the 750x Grand Jackpot.
Editions and similar Wazdan titles
Three editions are listed: 12 Coins Grand Gold Edition (2023, 96.13%), 12 Coins Grand Platinum Edition (2024, 96.15%) and 12 Coins Grand Diamond Edition (2025, 96.14%), all High volatility.
Mighty Wild: Panther (2023) lists 96.15% with High volatility, and Book of Faith from the same year shares the 96.13% RTP.
Pros
- Grand Jackpot of 750x the bet
- Collector multiplier reaches 20x
- Re-spins reset with every new bonus symbol
- Simple trigger: four bonus symbols on the middle row
Cons
- No wins at all in the base game
- High volatility
- 96.13% RTP, a 3.87% house edge
Verdict
12 Coins takes the bonus-only idea of 9 Coins and widens it: twelve reels, a Collector multiplier up to 20x and a Grand Jackpot of 750x. The rules are simple, but the base game pays nothing and the rating is High, so results arrive in bursts. With a 96.13% RTP and a 3.87% house edge, it is a game for small, planned budgets and patience.
