Top Eagle review
Top Eagle shows the flight from above. An airplane climbs over a wide field, and your task is to call the parachute drop before it crashes. The twist is the record-keeping: the screen remembers your longest flight, marks your biggest drop and hands out trophies and plane skins for passing set multiplier marks. BGaming released it in 2024 with a 97% RTP. Volatility and max win are not published in our catalogue.
Jumping before the crash
A round begins when you place a bet. The plane takes off, a dynamic multiplier shown on the altimeter rises with its flight, and you press to cash out with the parachute at the moment you choose. A successful drop multiplies the bet by the value on the altimeter. The aircraft can crash without notice, so waiting for a record distance is not a plan the game rewards. The studio itself says an element of luck is at play.
The camera looks straight down at the scene, and the player can switch the mood between two soundtracks called Attack and Recon. The studio also mentions six customization options without listing them.
Records, trophies and skins
Most of the game's extras track your own results rather than change the round. None of them affect the RTP.
Leading
On your first try the longest flight is marked on the playing field. Fly past that milestone and you earn the Leading trophy. According to the studio this can happen on the second bet of the same round or on later attempts.
Best Drop
When a cash-out drop succeeds, your biggest multiplier is shown under a special icon at the top right and the highlight moves up with each larger cash-out.
Plane skins
Reaching the 2x, 5x, 10x, 50x and 100x marks unlocks five plane skins, one per mark. They are cosmetic: the studio presents them as a way to fly in style.
Flight History
A bar at the top records the highest multiplier the plane reached in each round before crashing. A round you cashed out in is marked in white and the others stay pale gray.
Automating the drop
Automatic cashout lets you choose the multiplier values at which the game will drop the parachute for you. Autoplay places bets for a chosen number of automatic flights. Together they remove the need to react in time, though they do not change the odds. The second bet mentioned under Leading suggests two bets can run in one round, but the text does not describe how bets are placed, so we leave that detail out.
Numbers and budget
Top Eagle has one RTP on record, 97%, a house edge of 3%. That is about $30 lost per $1,000 wagered over a long run. 100 rounds at $0.20 cost $0.60 on average, 100 rounds at $1 cost $3 and 100 rounds at $5, or $500 wagered, cost $15.
We have no volatility label or max win for this game, and the studio text we have gives none. Every flight is random, so a long previous flight, a trophy or a skin does not make the next one safer. The records are a scoreboard for you, not a signal about the plane.
Pros
- 97% RTP, a 3% house edge, about $30 per $1,000 wagered
- Personal records: Leading trophy, Best Drop and Flight History
- Five cosmetic plane skins tied to multiplier marks from 2x to 100x
- Automatic cashout and Autoplay
- Free official demo available
Cons
- No volatility label or max win published for this game
- The studio does not say what the six customization options are
- Records and skins are cosmetic and can encourage chasing a bigger drop
Verdict
Top Eagle adds a collection layer to a standard crash round: a parachute drop from a plane, a Best Drop marker, a Leading trophy and five skins unlocked from 2x to 100x. The 97% RTP carries a 3% house edge, and volatility and max win are not published. Treat the records as decoration, keep to a budget and use the free demo to see how the top-down view feels.
