Prosperity Fortune Tree story and theme
In the studio's tale, a farmer once planted a magical seed on the advice of a deity. It grew into a towering Fortune Tree carrying pockets of gold ingots. Over the years people forgot where the tree stood, and it kept growing taller and heavier with gold.
The player is invited to find it again. PG Soft markets the game as the follow-up to an earlier title called Tree of Fortune, though that game is not part of the numbers used here.
