JetX review

JetX is a crash game from SmartSoft Gaming, released in 2018. A jet takes off, a multiplier rises as it climbs, and you collect before the jet explodes. Two RTP versions are recorded, 98.9% and 96.2%, the volatility is High and the max win is 25,000x the bet. The game supports two bets in the same round and auto collect. SmartSoft Gaming runs an official free demo on its own site (smartsoftgaming.com); it does not play on this page.

How to play JetX

You place a bet before the flight. The jet then takes off and the multiplier rises while it climbs. At any moment you can collect, and the bet is paid at the multiplier displayed right then. If the jet explodes before you collect, the bet is lost.

SmartSoft Gaming uses the word collect rather than cash out, and the idea is the same: you take a payout at the number on screen. Two bets can run in the same round, and auto collect at a chosen multiplier is available.

Two bets in one round

You can run two bets side by side, each with its own collect. One can be taken while the other stays in the air, and each is lost if the jet explodes before you collect it.

Auto collect

You choose a multiplier in advance and the game collects the bet when the display reaches it. It saves pressing the button, and it does not change the odds, because the jet explodes at a random point.

JetX demo: on the studio's site

SmartSoft Gaming runs an official free demo of JetX on its own site; it does not play on this page. It shows how the controls and the climbing multiplier work before any real stake is involved.

A demo balance carries no information about later results: every flight is independent.

JetX RTP and versions

JetX is recorded at two RTPs. The higher one is 98.9%, a house edge of 1.1%, which means about $11 lost per $1,000 wagered over a long run. The lower one is 96.2%, a house edge of 3.8%, or about $38 per $1,000. The gap changes the cost of every wager, so check which figure applies to the game you are playing.

Over 100 rounds at $0.20 ($20 wagered), the average cost is $0.22 at 98.9% and $0.76 at 96.2%. At $1 ($100 wagered) it is $1.10 and $3.80. At $5 ($500 wagered) it is $5.50 and $19.

JetX max win

The max win is 25,000x the bet. In money, that is $5,000 on a $0.20 bet, $25,000 on a $1 bet and $125,000 on a $5 bet.

This is the ceiling, not an expectation. The studio rates the volatility as High, which points to widely spread results, with the top end far from typical. The jet explodes at a random point, so the multiplier you can reach is never known in advance.

Why JetX volatility is High

A High rating describes the spread between outcomes: a bet is either collected at some multiplier or lost when the jet explodes, and payouts can reach large multiples. It does not describe a pattern you can use. Each flight is generated independently, so a long flight does not make the next one shorter or longer.

No collect habit, chosen multiplier or run of earlier results changes the long-run return. We do not recommend a target. JetX is paid entertainment with a house edge between 1.1% and 3.8%, depending on the version, so set a limit before you start.

Pros

  • Two RTP versions on record, the higher at 98.9%
  • Max win of 25,000x the bet
  • Two bets per round and auto collect
  • Volatility rating is published: High

Cons

  • The lower version is 96.2%, a 3.8% house edge
  • High volatility means wide swings in results
  • Fast rounds raise the amount wagered per minute

Verdict

JetX is a compact crash game from SmartSoft Gaming with a clear top-end figure of 25,000x and a High volatility rating. The RTP is the number to watch: 98.9% is a 1.1% house edge, but a 96.2% version is also recorded, at 3.8%. Try the studio's free JetX demo to learn the controls, and remember that each flight is random and independent of the last.
