Cocktail Nights review

Cocktail Nights is a 2021 PG Soft video slot about a young bartender learning a secret craft, played on a 6-reel, 5-row grid with an extra reel row below. RTP is 96.75%, volatility is Medium and the max win is 100,000x the bet. No demo plays on this page. This guide covers the grid, the free spins, the multipliers and the numbers.

Cocktail Nights theme: the bartender's apprenticeship

The story follows Bei Jing, a bartender since the age of 17 who cannot create a cocktail of her own. A rumour leads her to a hidden bar in an alley on the edge of the Kesula border, run by an owner said to hold the title Master of Cocktails.

She wins a place as his apprentice by finishing every task in time, and ten years later she has won many awards for her own drink, Kiss of an Angel. The tale is atmosphere only, but it explains the bar setting.

How to play Cocktail Nights

PG Soft describes a 6-reel, 5-row video slot with an additional reel at the bottom of reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. The features it names are Wilds-on-the-Way and multiplier symbols at the bottom of the reels, which already hints that the extra row exists to hold multipliers rather than ordinary symbols.

The rules text does not explain how Wilds-on-the-Way behave, how wins are formed on the grid, or what symbols pay. Without a paytable, this page leaves those out.

Cocktail Nights free spins: how to trigger them

Four Scatter symbols trigger 10 free spins. Each extra Scatter beyond four adds 2 more free spins, so the number of spins can rise at the moment of the trigger.

The bonus has its own twist on multipliers. After wins are paid, the multipliers that were used are destroyed, and bigger multipliers cascade in from the right. The studio says this multiplies winnings exponentially, which is promotional wording. A fair reading is that multiplier values can grow from one step to the next while the feature runs.

Free Spins Feature

Four Scatters give 10 free spins, and each additional Scatter adds 2 spins. The rules do not state a retrigger inside the round.

Cascading multipliers

In the free spins, used multipliers are removed after wins are paid and larger ones move in from the right. The bottom row is where multiplier symbols sit.

Cocktail Nights RTP and house edge

The only recorded RTP is 96.75%, giving a house edge of 3.25%. That is an average cost of $32.50 per $1,000 wagered.

A $0.20 bet over 100 spins moves $20 and costs $0.65 on average; $1 moves $100 and costs $3.25; $5 moves $500 and costs $16.25. Medium volatility describes the spread of results, not a promise about any single session.

Cocktail Nights max win

The cap is 100,000x the bet: $20,000 at $0.20, $100,000 at $1 and $500,000 at $5. That is a very large ceiling for a Medium volatility slot, and since the multipliers are described only in free spins, most of the route to that figure runs through the bonus.

Cocktail Nights vs similar slots

Cocktail Nights has no sequel on record. Jurassic Kingdom, Rise of the Sun God and Opera Dynasty (all 2021) list 96.72%, 96.78% and 96.79%, each with a 100,000x top prize. Genie's 3 Wishes (2020) lists exactly 96.75%. Only San Quentin xWays goes beyond, at 150,000x, paired with 96.03%.

Pros

  • Extra Scatters beyond four add 2 more free spins
  • Used multipliers are replaced by bigger ones during free spins
  • 100,000x max win at Medium volatility
  • 96.75% RTP

Cons

  • No demo on this page
  • Wilds-on-the-Way are named but not explained in the rules
  • No paytable is available

Verdict

Cocktail Nights is a bar-themed slot whose interest sits in the free spins, where multipliers cascade in from the right. RTP is 96.75%, volatility is Medium and the cap is 100,000x. With a house edge of 3.25%, set a budget before opening it and treat every spin as a cost of entertainment.
